HBC, formerly known as B2 and then C2, is a superyacht built in 2008 at the shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen. The interior and exterior design of HBC was done by Reymond Langton Design Ltd..

Design

The superyacht had it interior and exterior designed by Reymond Langton Design Ltd.. [1] The material of the hull is steel, with the superstructure made out of aluminium. The yacht is 85.62 metres (280 ft 11 in) long with a beam of 12.40 m (40 ft 8 in). The draught of HBC is 3.20 m (10 ft 6 in) and the vessel is measured at 2,075  gross tonnage  (GT). [2]

The main engines are two Caterpillar Inc. 3516 DITA diesel engines creating 2,000 hp (1,491 kW) each. HBC can reach a maximum speed of 16 knots (30 km/h; 18 mph), while the cruising speed is at 14 knots (26 km/h; 16 mph). The vessel has a maximum estimated range of 7,000 nautical miles (13,000 km; 8,100 mi). The yacht is Lloyd's registered, issued by Cayman Islands. The yacht can accommodate up to 22 passengers in 11 cabins. [2] The vessel has a crew of 26. [3]

Construction and career

The superyacht was launched in 2008 by the shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen. [1] [4] Originally named C2, the vessel was delivered in 2009 to owner Ronald Perelman. [3] [5] In 2019, the vessel underwent a refit designed by Winch Design, receiving a new transom, an 7 m (23 ft 0 in) extended aft deck and a swim platform and renamed B2. [4] In 2024, the vessel was sold to a new owner. [3]

Illusion is a superyacht built in 2013 at the Dutch Heesen Yachts shipyard. The interior design of Illusion was done by Bannenberg & Rowell Design and the exterior work was done by Omega Architects. It was launched as the Galactica Star with an original sale price of €65 million.

DB9 is a super-yacht launched on 13 July 2010 at the Palmer Johnson shipyard in the United Kingdom and delivered the following year. The interior and exterior design of DB9 were created by Nuvolari & Lenard.

Aviva is a 98-metre (322 ft) length motor yacht. She is the fourth yacht named Aviva built for Bahamas-based British businessman Joe Lewis, and replaces the 68m Aviva (III). Like her predecessor, Aviva was designed by Reymond Langton, and built by Lemwerder-based German builder Abeking & Rasmussen. The hull of the ship was built at Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft and launched in 2015.

Reymond Langton Design is a design studio specialising in the interior decoration of superyachts. It was founded by Pascale Reymond and Andrew Langton in 2001, and was originally based in London. The company headquarters and principal design studio subsequently relocated to the city of Bath.
