HC Indians was an ice hockey club from Kaarina, Finland. At its best, the team played in the Suomi-sarja, the 3rd level of ice hockey in Finland. The club was previously known as the Kaarinan Kiekko-Pojat or KaKiPo.

KaKiPo won the II-divisioona West Coast championship four times, the last of which decided the team's promotion to the Suomi-sarja in the spring of 2014.^[1]^[2] After its promotion to the league in 2014, KaKiPo transferred the activities of its representative team to the newly established club and changed its name to HC Indians Kaarina. Junior activities continued at KaKiPo.^[2]

HC Indians Kaarina ceased operations in September 2023, just one day before the start of the 2023–24 Suomi-sarja season. The reason was said to be the economic situation and the lack of players and background factors.^[3]^[4]^[5]

Hockey Club Kirkkonummen Salamat or HCK Salamat are a Finnish ice hockey team in the III-divisioona, the fifth-tier men's ice hockey league in Finland. They play in Kirkkonummi, a municipality in the western Greater Helsinki region, at Varuboden-areena. The club was founded in 2002 as HC Salamat and played in the Mestis during 2003 to 2008.

The Jääurheiluseura Hawks, commonly known as the Haukat ('Hawks'), is a men's ice hockey team in the Suomi-sarja, the third-tier professional ice hockey league in Finland. The team is based in Järvenpää, in the Uusimaa region of southern Finland, and their home arena is the Järvenpää Ice Hall.

2. Divisioona or II-divisioona, also known as Rautaliiga, is the fourth-highest men's national ice hockey league in Finland, above 3. Divisioona and below the Suomi-sarja. The league is divided geographically into six divisions.

Savonlinnan Pallokerho (SaPKo) is an ice hockey team from Savonlinna, Finland, they currently play in the Suomi-sarja. It plays its home matches at the Talvisalo ice rink.

Eveliina Mäkinen is a Finnish ice hockey goaltender and member of the Finnish national team, currently playing in the SWHL B with EV Zug and intermittently with EHC Sursee in the Swiss men's 2. Liga.

KeuPa HT are a semi-professional ice hockey team based in Keuruu, Finland. They are members of the second highest league in Finland, Mestis. The club was founded in 1995 in the Finnish fourth division II-Divisioona after the ice hockey club decided to part company with the Keuruu sports club. They play their home games in the Keuruu Ice Hall, which holds 1200 spectators. KeuPa are two time Suomi-sarja champions and one time Mestis champions.

The 2013–14 Suomi-sarja season was the 15th season of the Suomi-sarja, the third level of ice hockey in Finland. 14 teams participated in the league, and KeuPa HT won the championship. They were promoted to the Mestis league for 2014–15 and Raahe-Kiekko were relegated to II-divisioona. They were replaced by KaKiPo and IPK.

JHT is a Finnish ice hockey team based at Kalajoki. Full name of the club is Junkkarit Hockey Team. JHT plays in Kalajoki at Kalajoen jäähalli which holds about 1,700, they currently play in the 3rd level in the Finnish hockey leagues (Suomi-sarja). JHT won the 2017–18 season of Suomi-sarja and faced Peliitat Heinola in the promotion playoff to Mestis but failed to get promoted.

Porvoo Hunters is an ice hockey club based in Porvoo, Finland. The team played the 2018–19 season in Suomi-sarja (the third top league in Finland after Liiga and Mestis. During the 2018-2019 season they finished 2nd overall and qualified for the promotion playoffs against Peliitat.

Ice hockey is the most popular sport in Finland in terms of television viewership and game attendance figures. It is third most popular sport in participation amongst children. As of 2020, approximately 1.3% of the Finnish population was registered with the International Ice Hockey Federation, ranking Finland second in the world for percentage of population participating in ice hockey and the highest percentage of any country outside of North America.

Naisten Liiga, also called the Naisten SM-liiga (NSML) and Jääkiekon naisten SM-liiga, is the elite league for women's ice hockey in Finland. Founded by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association as the Naisten SM-sarja in 1982, it was so known until being rebranded as the Naisten Liiga in 2017. The league comprises approximately 250 players across ten teams.

Naisten Mestis is the second-highest women's ice hockey league in Finland. The league was founded as Naisten I-divisioona in 1985 by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association, when the number of teams playing in the Naisten SM-sarja was limited. It was renamed Naisten Mestis prior to the 2012–13 season.

Vaasan Sport Naiset were a women's ice hockey team in Finland. They played in Vaasa, on the west coast of Finland, at the Vaasan Sähkö Areena. Founded in 1983, the team most recently played in the Naisten Liiga from the 2018–19 season until being relegated at the conclusion of the 2021–22 season. The team was dissolved following relegation.

Matilda Nilsson is a Finnish ice hockey player, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Frölunda HC Dam. As a member of the Finnish national ice hockey team, she won a bronze medal at the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship.

The Katja Riipi Award is an ice hockey trophy, seasonally awarded by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association to the best forward of the Naisten Liiga, previously the Naisten SM-sarja. Best forward in the Naisten Liiga was first awarded in the 2005–06 season, to Saara Niemi (née Tuominen). The award was named in honor of Katja Riipi during the 2010–11 season.

Porin Karhu Hockey Team, also known as Karhu HT was an ice hockey team in Pori, Finland.

The Naisten Suomi-sarja, distinguished as the Jääkiekon naisten Suomi-sarja, is the third-tier women's ice hockey league in Finland. It was established by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association in 2003 and is the lowest tier of national ice hockey competition, below the premier Naisten Liiga and secondary Naisten Mestis, but above regional leagues.

Patrik Juhola is a Finnish ice hockey player who is currently under a contract with Porin Ässät of the Liiga, but on a season loan at Imatran Ketterä, his contract with Ässät ends after the 2024–25 season. Juhola was selected as the best player of the month in the U20 SM-sarja in the 2021–22 season when he put up 39 points in 40 games as a 17 year old. Juhola has played 3 WJC games putting up one point.
