HK Beograd

HK Beograd were a Serbian ice hockey team that currently played in the Eastern European MOL Liga for one season. Their home arena was Ledena dvorana Pionir in Belgrade, Serbia. The club's inaugural season was the 2016/17 MOL Liga season, in which they finished in 1st place. [1] [2] They would also win the Serbian Cup in their first season, giving the team their first domestic trophy.

Due to extreme financial difficulties, Sloga Petrovac application for 2016–17 season was rejected. On an emergency meeting in the Serbian FA, on 18 July 2016, it was announced that Sloboda Užice would, as a consequence of Sloga's relegation, stay in the league for 2016–17 season. The season begun in August 2016 and ended in May 2017.

The 2016–17 MOL Liga is a season of the MOL Liga. DVTK Jegesmedvék is the two-time defending champion after defeating MAC Budapest in the 2015-2016 season. A new team, the Serbian based HK Beograd joined the league.

Nikola Petković is a Serbian professional footballer who plays for Slovenian PrvaLiga club Mura. He can play as an attacking midfielder or striker.
