The HWA Cruiserweight Championship was a title contested in the Heartland Wrestling Association. It was introduced on August 22, 1997 when Tarek The Great became the first champion. On January 6, 2004 it was retired and renamed to the HWA Television Championship. The title was re-activated on August 30, 2008 and Aaron Williams became the first champion since the re-activation. [1] But on June 10, 2009 it was retired a second time and was again renamed, this time to the HWA American Luchadore Championship. Williams remained the champion as a result.

Lance Kurtis McNaught was an American professional wrestler. He was best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) where he performed under the ring names Garrison Cade and Lance Cade.
The WWE Cruiserweight Championship was a professional wrestling championship originally used in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and later, World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment (WWF/WWE). It was contested by wrestlers under 225 lbs, billed as cruiserweights. Following the acquisition of WCW by the then-WWF in 2001, it became a WWF championship and replaced the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. During the first WWE brand extension, it was the only title to be exclusive to the SmackDown! brand during its entire tenure.
James Gibson is an American retired professional wrestler better known by the ring name Jamie Noble. He is currently signed to WWE as a producer. In addition to his appearances with WWE, Noble is known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling from 1999 to 2001 as Jamie Howard, Jamie-San and Jamie Knoble and with New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Ring of Honor in 2004 and 2005 under his birth name. He is a former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and ROH World Champion.

He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling, where he was a one-time WCW Cruiserweight Champion and a one-time WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champion, and with NWA Total Nonstop Action, where he was a four-time NWA World Tag Team Champion.

Michael Edwin Neil Sanders is an American stand-up comedian and former professional wrestler. Sanders is best known for his time in World Championship Wrestling, where he was a one time Cruiserweight Champion.
Dean Matthew Roll is an American professional wrestler, best known for his appearances in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) under the ring name Shark Boy. Prior to his appearances in TNA, Roll competed on the independent scene from the mid-1990s onwards before being signed by World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1999. Following his release from WCW six months later in 2000, Roll returned to the independent scenes, mainly competing for the World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA) promotion. He would leave WWA in 2002 to join TNA, where he became a member of the TNA X Division. He would make sporadic appearances in TNA from 2009 onwards.
In professional wrestling, Cruiserweight is a weight class but also a term for a fast-paced, aerial-based style of performer. The term was first coined in the United States in 1996 by World Championship Wrestling. Prior to this, the terms "Light Heavyweight" and "Junior Heavyweight" were more commonly in use. The older term Junior Heavyweight is still favored in Japan, where many titles for lighter-weight competitors are called Junior Heavyweight titles. Prominent titles include New Japan Pro-Wrestling's IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, Pro Wrestling Noah's GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship, and All Japan Pro Wrestling's World Junior Heavyweight championships.

The HWA Television Championship was a title contested in the Heartland Wrestling Association. It was introduced on January 6, 2004 when the HWA Cruiserweight Championship was renamed. Quinten Lee was made the HWA Television Championship as he was the then HWA Cruiserweight Champion. Granger was the final champion as the title was retired on August 30, 2008 when the HWA Cruiserweight Championship was re-activated.
Brett J. Keen, better known by the ring name Chip Fairway, was an American professional wrestler. One of the top cruiserweight wrestlers in the Midwestern United States during the mid-to-late 1990s, his in-ring persona as a pro golfer turned wrestler was considered one of the most unusual "gimmicks" on the independent circuit.
