HXC Recordings (also known as Hot Charity) was an independent record label, distributed by British record company, Beggars Group through XL Recordings.
The label was launched in 2012 by photographer and filmmaker Jamie-James Medina. [1] The label's first signing was Chicago outsider artist Willis Earl Beal, releasing his debut album Acousmatic Sorcery on April 2, 2012. [2]

Grinderman is the eponymous debut studio album by alternative rock band Grinderman, a side project of members of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released on 5 March 2007 on Mute Records in Europe and ANTI- in the United States. Aiming to recreate the more raw, primal sound of all former related projects such as The Birthday Party, Grinderman's lyrical and musical content diverged significantly from Nick Cave's concurrent work with The Bad Seeds, whose last studio album, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre of Orpheus (2004), was primarily blues, gospel and alternative-orientated in stark contrast to the raw sound of the early Bad Seeds albums. Incidentally, the musical direction of Grinderman influenced The Bad Seeds' next studio album, Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! (2008).
Thomas Moen Hermansen, recording under the name Prins Thomas, is a Norwegian record producer and DJ often associated with collaborator Hans-Peter Lindstrøm as Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas. Their music has been described as "space disco", and influences include electro, krautrock, psychedelia and prog. Their records include the album Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas, released in 2005 on the Eskimo Recordings label, and Reinterpretations, a compilation of remixes and unreleased versions of tracks from the album. The duo have released a second album, Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas II. Hermansen released his fourth LP album called Principe Del Norte on February 19, 2016.

Thebe Neruda Kgositsile, also known by his stage name Earl Sweatshirt, is an American rapper, songwriter, musician, record producer, poet, actor and videographer. Tender Loving Empire is an independent record label and local handicraft concept store based in Portland, Oregon. Ratking was an American hip hop group formed in New York City, New York. They were signed to XL Recordings. They went on hiatus in 2015 and disbanded in 2016.
So It Goes is the debut studio album by New York City hip hop group Ratking, which consisted at the time rappers Wiki and Hak, and rapper-producer Sporting Life. It was released on April 8, 2014 by HXC Recordings. It was entirely engineered by Young Guru. The album's title was inspired by Kurt Vonnegut's novel Slaughterhouse-Five. The album features collaborations with King Krule, Salomon Faye, and Wavy Spice. The album reached #13 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums, #38 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and #21 on Rap Albums.
