Ha Baroana is a site in Lesotho noted for its early rock art.[ citation needed ] The site is located close to Nazareth village, to the east of the capital, Maseru.

The National University of Lesotho, the main and oldest university in Lesotho, is located in Roma, 34 km (21 mi) southeast of Maseru, the capital of Lesotho. The Roma valley is broad and is surrounded by a barrier of rugged mountains which provides magnificent scenery. The university enjoys a temperate climate with four distinct seasons. The governing body of the university is the council and academic policy is in the hands of Senate, both Council and Senate being established by the Act.
Mohale's Hoek is the capital city of Mohale's Hoek District in Lesotho. It had a population of approximately 40,040 in 2016.

The Setsoto Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Maseru, Lesotho. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 13,900. It is currently the home ground of the Lesotho national football team. It has been renovated and enlarged in 2010–2011.
The Central Bank of Lesotho is the central bank of Lesotho, in southern Africa. The bank is located in Maseru and its current governor is Dr. Emmanuel Letete. The bank was established in 1978 as the Lesotho Monetary Authority.
Semonkong is a community council located in the Maseru District of Lesotho. Semonkong, meaning "Place of Smoke", was established in the 1880s as a refuge for Basotho displaced by the Basuto Gun War. It is located close to several major natural features, including the Maletsunyane Falls and the 3096-metre peak of Thaba Putsoa. The population in 2006 was 7,781.
Ha Lejone is a village in the Leribe District of northern Lesotho. It is on a ridge above a bend of the Malibamat'so River, 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) east of the Mafika-Lisiu Pass, which links Ha Lejone with the community of Pitseng.
Morija is a town in western Lesotho, located 35 kilometres south of the capital, Maseru. Morija is one of Lesotho's most important historical and cultural sites, known as the Selibeng sa Thuto— the Well-Spring of Learning. It was the site of the first French Protestant mission in Lesotho, founded in 1833. The town also houses the Morija Museum and Archives, well known for supporting research and preserving valuable records and documents of Lesotho's history.
Sehonghong is a community council located in the Thaba-Tseka District of Lesotho. In 2006 its population was 5,814. The village of Sehonghong is located between Taung and Matebeng on the Senqu River.
Nazareth is a town in western Lesotho. It is located to the east of the capital, Maseru, and west of the God Help Me Pass. Ha Baroana, an important archaeological site, is located just to the north of Nazareth.
Mazenod is a community council located in the Maseru District of western Lesotho. The population in 2006 was 27,553. It is located to the south-east of the capital Maseru. Points of interest include Moshoeshoe I International Airport, Lesotho's only international airport.
The LiphofungHistorical Site includes a cave which occupies an important place in Lesotho history. It is the smallest of the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) reserves, at about 4.5 ha, but has been intensively developed. The cave is a large overhang in the Clarens sandstone, which is a typical feature of the Lesotho lowlands region. Originally used by the San people and other Neolithic people, the walls contain important rock art and a rich archaeological deposit of Stone Age implements lies beneath the floor. Later, King Moshoeshoe the Great used the cave as a stopover when visiting that part of the kingdom.

Taung, also known as Taung #56, is a constituency in Mohale's Hoek District in Lesotho. It begins at Ha-Mont'so where Mafeteng district ends.
The Kome Caves are a group of cave dwellings made out of mud in the district of Berea, Lesotho 25 km east of Teyateyaneng. The caves are still inhabited by the descendants of the original people who built the caves. The site has been classified as a National Heritage Site.
