Habte Jifar (born January 29, 1976 in Ambo, Ethiopia) is an Ethiopian middle distance runner. He has a total of three medals in the All-African Games. His best performance in a global event was a sixth place at the 1999 World Championships. He currently specializes in the marathon race.Now at this time he lives in America, and he has three daughters and a lovely wife. He also achieved so many medals.

Tsehafi TaezazAklilu Habte-Wold was an Ethiopian politician under Emperor Haile Selassie. He was foreign minister of Ethiopia from 1947 to 1958 and Prime Minister from 1961 until his death by the Derg execution in 1974.

The Kingdom of Jimma was an Oromo kingdom in the Gibe region of Ethiopia that emerged in the 18th century. It shared its western border with Limmu-Ennarea, its eastern border with the Sidamo Kingdom of Janjero, and was separated from the Kingdom of Kaffa to the south by the Gojeb River. Jimma was considered the most powerful militarily of the Gibe kingdoms.

Ethiopia's participation in the Paralympic Games has been sporadic. The country made its Paralympic début at the 1968 Summer Games in Tel Aviv, sending two competitors who both competed in both athletics and table tennis.
