Lawrence Hill is a Canadian novelist, essayist, and memoirist. He is known for his 2007 novel The Book of Negroes, inspired by the Black Loyalists given freedom and resettled in Nova Scotia by the British after the American Revolutionary War, and his 2001 memoir Black Berry, Sweet Juice: On Being Black and White in Canada. The Book of Negroes was adapted for a TV mini-series produced in 2015. He was selected in 2013 for the Massey Lectures: he drew from his non-fiction book Blood: The Stuff of Life, published that year. His ten books include other non-fiction and fictional works, and some have been translated into other languages and published in numerous other countries.

The Michelin Pilot Challenge is a grand touring and touring car racing series run by the International Motor Sports Association. Originating from the Canadian Motorola Cup, the series was taken over by Grand-Am in 2001 to become the Grand-Am Cup following the demise of rival IMSA's Firehawk series of similar rules in the US. KONI became series sponsor for the start of the 2007 season when the series became known as the KONI Challenge Series, before renaming once more prior to the start of the 2009 season as the KONI Sports Car Challenge. The series name was once again changed for the 2010 season to Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. In 2019, the series rebranded again after Michelin was selected to become the new official tire supplier of the series.

Piano Lessons is an American music education television series featuring piano lessons from G. Aldo Randegger. It originally aired in New York City on W2XAB, a then-experimental television station of Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS), from October 8, 1931, to 1932. Piano Lessons is among the earliest regularly scheduled television programs. Due to a lack of any preservation the entire series is widely accepted as being completely lost.
Elliot Jaffee was an American television series, which aired 1931 to 1932 on experimental television station W2XAB. Featuring the tenor of the same name, it was a live music series on mechanical television. Jaffee was also a radio performer during the early 1930s. None of the episodes still exist, as methods to record live television were not developed until late 1947. The series aired in a 15-minute time-slot.
Grace Yeager is the assumed title of a 1931–1932 United States television series which aired on New York City television station W2XAB. Among the earliest regularly-scheduled series, it featured the singer of the same name, who was a soprano. According to an article in the October 31, 1931 edition of The New York Sun titled W2XAB Source of Features, Yeager had previously been a member of the San Carlos Opera Company. None of the episodes still exist, as it aired live, and practical methods to record live television did not exist until 1947.
The Upstairs Downstairs Bears is a British-Canadian children's stop-motion animated series. The series was co-produced by Scottish Television Enterprises and Canada's Cinar in co-production with Egmont Imagination in Denmark, in association with Imagination Production and FilmFair Animation. The series was broadcast on CITV in the United Kingdom and Teletoon in Canada. It consists of a single season of 13 half-hour episodes, or 26 shorts.
