The ML-63 is a submachine gun manufactured by the Buenos Aires-based Halcon corporation.

Overview

The ML-63 is chambered in 9mm Parabellum and is fed from a 30-round magazine. [1] The ML-63 also came with a fixed wooden stock, which appears to be based primarily on the MAT-49 Submachine Gun. [2] An integrally suppressed version was also made. [3] A number of ML-63 submachine guns were found by the British during the Falklands War in 1982. [4]

Jatimatic Finnish submachine gun

The Jatimatic is a Finnish 9×19mm Parabellum submachine gun developed in the late 1970s and early 1980s by Jali Timari. The submachine gun made its debut in 1983. The Jatimatic was manufactured in very limited numbers initially by Tampereen Asepaja Oy of Tampere and later—Oy Golden Gun Ltd. The firearm was designed primarily for police, security forces and armored vehicle crews. It was never adopted into service by the Finnish Defence Forces, although the later GG-95 PDW version was tested by the FDF in the 1990s.

Law enforcement in Argentina

In Argentina the most important law enforcement organization is the Argentine Federal Police with jurisdiction in all Argentine territory. Most routine police work is carried out by provincial/state police forces. In recent years several cities, started their own local police forces to reduce the burden on the State Police. The capital city of Buenos Aires, where the Argentine Federal Police works with Argentine Naval Prefecture and Buenos Aires City Police.

The QCW-05 is a suppressed bullpup submachine gun, manufactured and developed by the People's Liberation Army (PLA) 208 Research Institute and Jianshe Industries (Group) Corporation of Chongqing under the China South Industries Group for the People's Liberation Army Ground Force, the People's Liberation Army Special Operations Forces and the People's Armed Police. This weapon is designed for the 5.8×21mm DCV05 sub-sonic round that is also used by the QSW-06 Silenced Pistol.

JS 9 mm Bullpup submachine gun

The JS 9 mm, also known as the CS/LS2, is a commercial export version of the QCW-05. It is a suppressed submachine gun developed by the Jianshe Industries (Group) Corporation of Chongqing. The JS 9 mm is capable of using any 9×19mm round, including the popular 9×19mm Parabellum round but has specifically been chambered for the indigenous, armour-piercing 9×19mm DAP92-9 round.

The Type 77 is a 7.62×17 mm Type 64 caliber semi-automatic pistol in service with all branches of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) of the People's Republic of China, People's Armed Police and various Chinese police forces. The CS/LS5 is a submachine gun developed by the Jianshe Industries (Group) Corporation of Chongqing. The CS/LS5 design is chambered for indigenous armour-piercing 9×19mm DAP-92 ammunition, but can also use the popular 9×19mm Parabellum round used internationally by armed forces and law enforcement for most pistols and sub machine guns, as well as domestically developed less lethal rubber ammunition.
