Halina Balon (born 18 April 1948) is a Polish fencer. She competed in the women's individual and team foil events at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics. [1]

After retiring from athletics she became a writer and poet. She immigrated to the United States after World War II, and died there.

Halina Sylwia Górecka is a retired Polish and German sprinter. At the Summer Olympics she competed for Poland in 1956, 1960 and 1964 and for West Germany in 1968.
