The Hamina Tattoo is a biannual military event in Hamina, Finland. It is the official military tattoo of the Finnish Defense Forces. It was established in 1990. The event has usually taken place in July or August. It was established as a result of an idea proposed in the early 1980s. The main venue of the tattoo has been Hamina Fortress since 1998. [1]

The Conscript Band of the Finnish Defence Forces is a military band founded in Hamina in 1990 where it was a company-level unit in the Kymi Anti-Aircraft Regiment. In 1996, the Band was transferred to the Häme Regiment in Lahti as a company-level unit in the Military Music School. At the beginning of 2015, the Conscript Band began operations in a new unit at the Hattula Armoured Brigade as the Häme Regiment, was discontinued due to the national defence reform.

The Hungarian Defense Forces Central Military Band (HDF Central Band) (Magyar Honvédség Központi Zenekar) is the official military band of the Hungarian Defence Forces, the national army of Hungary. It has represented the Military of Hungary in the realm of ceremonies for over 40 years. The central band also acts as the headquarters, administrative, and instructional unit for all separate garrison bands in the country. One of the smaller bands that are sported by the HDF Central Band is the National Home Defense Ceremonial Band of the 32nd Budapest Guard and Ceremonial Regiment. Although it was officially founded in 1962, its history goes back to 1896, when the first Hungarian military band of music was established in Budapest. The Lithuanian Land Forces Band also informally known as the Iron Wolf Military Band, is a Lithuanian military band that serves as the official band of the Lithuanian Land Forces. It is officially attached to the Mechanised Infantry Brigade Iron Wolf, specifically the Grand Duchess Birutė Mechanized Uhlan Battalion in Alytus. It was established in the half of 1994. It is currently composed of 36 members of the land forces. It has taken part in many international festivals since it came into existence around the time of the Fall of the Soviet Union. Among these festivals are the Hamina Tattoo in 2008. It has also taken part in many municipal and regional events. Notable commanders also include General Justinas Jonušas and Captain Viktoras Ščetilnikovas, who served the band until his death in 2019.

The Fanfare Band of the Royal Marechaussee is a 60-member fanfare band which serves as the official ensemble of the Dutch Royal Marechaussee. It is currently led by Captain Peter Kleine Schaars. It is currently based in Apeldoorn. Being a professional military band representing a service branch of the Dutch Armed Forces, it consists of many different ensembles, including a saxophone quartet, and a percussion section. Also, it maintains a drum and bugle corps component.

The Swiss Army Central Band is a military band that is part of the Swiss Army and the representative band of the Swiss Armed Forces. It is part of the Military Music Competence Center. It is based on mostly German and French, but also modern British influences. It consists of 80 musicians who every year send a delegation abroad to introduce Swiss Military Music to the world. In recent years, the band visited military tattoos in Argentina, Brazil, Greece, China, Finland South Korea, Singapore, New Zealand and the United States. Events around the world have included the Spasskaya Tower Military Music Festival and Tattoo, the Norwegian Military Tattoo and the Virginia International Tattoo. The band is the primary host and participant of the Basel Tattoo.
