He is one of the highest scoring left wingers in NHL history, and is in second place in career power-play goals (274) behind Alexander Ovechkin. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2017.
Martin St. Louis is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger and current head coach of the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). An undrafted player, St. Louis played a total of 1,134 games, scoring 391 goals and 1,033 points in an NHL career that began with the Calgary Flames in 1998 and ended with the New York Rangers in 2015. He is best remembered for having played with the Tampa Bay Lightning and was a member of the Lightning's 2004 Stanley Cup championship team. St. Louis also briefly played with HC Lausanne of the Swiss National League A. He was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2018; his first year of eligibility. St. Louis is widely considered one of the best undrafted players of all time.
John Gillies Mark Grahame is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes. He won the Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2004.
VincentLecavalier is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre currently working as a special advisor of hockey operations for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected first overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft and was a member of their 2004 Stanley Cup championship team. Lecavalier played seventeen seasons in the NHL between 1998 and 2016 and served as captain of the Lightning on two separate occasions prior to being bought out following the 2012-13 season and signing a 5-year, $22.5 million deal with the Philadelphia Flyers. He also previously played for the Los Angeles Kings.

Tortorella was previously the head coach of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Vancouver Canucks. He led Tampa Bay to the 2004 Stanley Cup championship.
Michael Barry Sullivan is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player who is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected in the fourth round, 69th overall, by the New York Rangers in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. Sullivan has also played for the San Jose Sharks, Calgary Flames, Boston Bruins, and Phoenix Coyotes. Internationally, he represented the United States twice, including at the 1997 World Championship.

The Golden Blades were owned by Steve Stroul from 1983–87 During the 82-83 season, the head trainer for the Blades was Marty Ward. Ward is a member of the Iroquois Nation (Onondaga) and went on to become the head trainer for the Iroquois Nationals lacrosse team from 2006-2014. Prior to training for the Blades, Ward trained for the Philadelphia Firebirds during the mid to late 70's and with the Syracuse Firebirds during their one season before they folded.

Cooper won back-to-back Stanley Cup championships in 2020 and 2021 as the Lightning head coach, and as of the 2023–24 season, is the longest-tenured head coach in the NHL.

An undrafted player, Šustr made his NHL debut with the Lightning in 2013 after playing three seasons of college ice hockey with the University of Nebraska Omaha.
