Hamza Balje (born 13 September 1970) is a Kosovan politician of Gorani origin. He served as a member of the Kosovan Assembly from 2010 to 2014 and was appointed as a Vice Minister for Economic Development in 2018. [1] Balje is the founder of the Center of Democratic Union, [2] a political subject later integrated to the Unique Gorani Party (JGP). [3]
Kurdish is a group of languages,or a single language,spoken by Kurds in the geo-cultural region of Kurdistan and the Kurdish diaspora. Duda Balje is a Kosovar Bosniak politician. A member of the Vakat Coalition,she served as a member of the Kosovan Assembly from 2001 to 2017. She chaired the Commission on Human Rights,Gender Equality,Missing Persons and Petitions. She declared on her Facebook page that she will vote against a new Civil Code that would legalize same-sex marriage. She decided to vote against because it does not match her religious beliefs.

The Social Democratic Union is a minority interest political party in Kosovo representing Bosniaks. It was founded by Duda Balje,who is also the party’s only Assembly Member. Balje was a member of the Vakat Coalition in the 2019 parliamentary election,who then later moved to the LDK parliamentary group.
United Nations Administered Kosovo refers to the period between 1999 and 2008 when the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo was directly responsible for the governance of Kosovo. This period began on 10 June 1999 with the passing of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and effectively ended on 17 February 2008 with the unilateral declaration of independence of Kosovo.
