"You Belong with Me" is a song by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift and the third single from her second studio album, Fearless (2008). Big Machine Records released the song to radio on April 20, 2009. Swift was inspired to write "You Belong with Me" after overhearing a phone call between a touring band member and his girlfriend; she and Liz Rose wrote the lyrics depicting an unrequited love. Swift and Nathan Chapman produced the track, which features a banjo-led country pop production and incorporates fiddle, mandolin, and rock-influenced bass and electric guitars. Although the single was promoted to country radio, some critics categorized it into 1980s pop subgenres such as pop rock and power pop.
Hannah Montana 3 is the soundtrack album for the third season of the television series Hannah Montana. Thirteen of its fourteen tracks are performed by the series' primary actress Miley Cyrus, and are credited to her titular character Hannah Montana. One of its actors Mitchel Musso contributes one song, while recording artists David Archuleta and Corbin Bleu appear as featured vocalists. "I Hope" is a song recorded by American country music singer Gabby Barrett. She released the single independently following her third-place finish on season 16 of American Idol. It led to her signing a deal with Warner Music Nashville, and it was released on July 29, 2019, as her debut single and the first from her debut studio album Goldmine. Barrett co-wrote the song with Jon Nite and Zach Kale, with Kale and Ross Copperman handling production.
