Hany Elbehiry is a paralympic athlete from Egypt competing mainly in category F58 shot put events.
Hany has competed in three Paralympics winning 5 medals. His first games were in 1996 where he won silver in both the F57 shot put and discus. In the 2000 Summer Paralympics he won a second shot put silver in the F58 class and also won the bronze medal in the javelin but could not match his 1996 performance in the discus only managing to finish fourth behind two Egyptian teammates. His third and final games in 2004 brought him a third medal in the shot put, this time a bronze. [1]
Egypt sent a delegation to compete at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia. Egyptian athletes won six gold medals, twelve silver and ten bronze, enabling their country to finish 23rd out of 123 on the medal table. Athletics and powerlifting were equally successful, with each sport giving 3 gold medals each to Egypt.
Bahrain made its Paralympic Games début the same year as its Olympic début, at the 1984 Summer Paralympics in Stoke Mandeville and New York City, sending a delegation to compete in athletics. The country has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics.
Bulgaria made its Paralympic Games début at the 1988 Summer Paralympics in Seoul, sending three competitors in track and field, and a men's goalball team. The country has participated in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics. It made its Winter Paralympics début in 1994, and has taken part in every edition of the Winter Games since then.
Latvia, following its independence from the Soviet Union, made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona, with a delegation of two athletes in track and field. It then sent Supulnieks as its sole representative to the 1994 Winter Paralympics, for its Winter Games début. Latvia has taken part in every subsequent edition of the Summer Paralympics, but missed the 1998 and 2002 Winter Games, appearing with a one-man delegation in 2006, before being absent again in 2010.

West has two bronze Paralympic medals and one silver, all in the shot put, and has medalled in the IPC World Championships and the Commonwealth Games.
Claudiney Batista dos Santos is a Brazilian Paralympian athlete competing in category F57/T57 throwing events. He won a silver medal in the javelin throw at the 2012 Paralympics and a gold medal in the discus throw at the 2016 Rio Games.

They won 20 medals including 7 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze, finishing 19th on the medal table. Members of the team included athletics competitors Ahmed Mohamed, Said Afifi, Aymen Ibrahim, Hany Mohamed, Mohamed Abdulla Mohamed and Mohamed Said, and shooter Sherif Abd Alla.
