History

The club played during most of its existence in the lower leagues of the Israeli football league system. In 1994 the club was promoted to Liga Bet, where it played for the next nine seasons, before winning the North B division and being promoted to fourth tier Liga Alef. The club played for four seasons in Liga Alef, finishing 8th, its best placing, in 2005–06. In 2004–05 the club qualified to the 9th round of the State Cup, where it met Hapoel Nahlat Yehuda and lost 0–1. [1] In 2006–07 the club finished 13th and was relegated to Liga Bet. Shortly afterwards the club folded.

The 2010–11 Liga Alef season saw Maccabi Umm al-Fahm and Hapoel Jerusalem win the title and promotion to Liga Leumit.

Hapoel Afula is an Israeli football club based in Afula. The club is currently in Liga Leumit and plays at the Afula Illit Stadium. Their main rivals are Hapoel Asi Gilboa.

The 2011–12 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Asi Gilboa and Maccabi Yavne win their regional divisions and qualify for promotion play-offs. Maccabi Yavne won the promotion play-offs and promoted to Liga Leumit.

The 2006–07 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Bnei Jadeidi and Hapoel Maxim Lod winning the title and promotion to Liga Artzit. However as Hapoel Maxim Lod folded during the following summer, eventually second placed Hapoel Kfar Shalem was promoted instead.

The 2007–08 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Umm al-Fahm and Maccabi Ironi Bat Yam winning the title and promotion to Liga Artzit.

The 2008–09 Liga Alef season was the last season of Liga Alef as the fourth tier of the Israeli football league system. Third tier, Liga Artzit, was scrapped, while the Premier League and Liga Leumit were expanded to 16 clubs each, making Liga Alef the third tier, as well as expanding the two regional divisions to 16 clubs.

The 2007–08 Liga Bet season saw Ahva Arraba, Maccabi Kafr Qara, Hapoel Hadera and Hapoel Masos/Segev Shalom winning the title and promotion to Liga Alef.

The 2008–09 Liga Bet season was the last season of Liga Bet as the fifth tier of the Israeli football league system. The third tier, Liga Artzit was scrapped at the end of the season, making Liga Bet the fourth tier.

The 2009–10 Liga Bet season was the first season since the 1998–99 Liga Bet season, in which Liga Bet regained its status as the fourth tier of Israeli football, due to the closure of Liga Artzit.

Maccabi Ironi Amishav Petah Tikva is an Israeli football club based in the Amishav neighbourhood of Petah Tikva.It currently competes in Liga Alef South division, playing home matches at the Sportek Stadium in Kfar Sirkin.
