Harald Jensen (born 18 December 1966) is a Norwegian sport shooter competing in Skeet. Jensen won the gold medal at both the ISSF World Shooting Championships [1] and the ISSF European Shooting Championships [2] in 2002. He finished as number six at the 2004 Summer Olympics.

The ISSF World Shooting Championships are governed by the International Shooting Sport Federation. World Shooting Championships began in 1897, after the successful 1896 Summer Olympics, and although the ISSF was not founded until 1907, these early competitions are still seen by the organization as the beginning of a continuous row of championships. By this logic, the 2006 competition in Zagreb was called the 49th ISSF World Shooting Championships. These championships, including all ISSF shooting events, are held every four years since 1954. For the shotgun events only, there is an additional World Championship competition in odd-numbered years. These extra competitions are not numbered. In running target, there will be World Championships in Olympic years.
Ennio Falco is a former Italian sport shooter and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in skeet shooting in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Zhang Shan is a Chinese sports shooter and Olympic champion.
Danka Barteková is a Slovak skeet shooter. She has won many medals from ISSF World, European Championships and ISSF World Cups. Barteková finished 8th at Women's Skeet event at the 2008 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal in Women's Skeet at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics. Barteková is a 14-time gold medalist in the Slovak Championship since 1999.
The San Marino national shooting team represent the Republic of San Marino in International shooting competitions such as Olympic Games or World shooting Championships. It provided the highest results in Olympic sports for the small country.
The European Shooting Championships are the continental championships for ISSF sport shooting disciplines in Europe, including 10m air rifle and air pistol, cartridge rifle and pistol. Sometimes the competition also includes trap shooting, skeet and running target shooting events, usually organized in special championships.
Pak Jong-ran is a North Korean sport shooter. She won two gold medals in the women's skeet at the 1990 Asian Games in Beijing, China, and at the 1991 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Perth, Western Australia, with scores of 197 and 191 targets, respectively.
Nathalie Linda Larsson is a Swedish sport shooter. She won two gold medals in the women's skeet at the 2005 European Shooting Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, and at the 2009 European Shooting Championships in Osijek, Croatia, accumulating scores of 92 and 93 targets, respectively.
Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen events at these Games had been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events, with the mixed team competitions.
Hendrikus "Hennie" Dompeling was a Dutch sport shooter. He was born in Haarlemmermeer. He has competed for the Netherlands in skeet shooting at five Olympics, and has been close to an Olympic medal in 2000. Outside the Olympic career, Dompeling has produced a phenomenal record of twenty-one medals in a major international competition: two bronze at the World Championships, a total of four at the ISSF World Cup final, a total of nine at numerous ISSF World Cup meets, and a total of six under both junior and senior category at the European Championships.
Michael Nielsen is a Danish sport shooter. He won a silver medal in skeet shooting at the 2003 European Championships in Brno, Czech Republic, and eventually finished seventh at the 2004 Summer Olympics, competing for the Danish team. Nielsen trains under longtime coach Kjild Fristrup as a member of the shooting team at SK København.
Diana Bacosi is an Italian shooter. She began shooting at 14. She represented her country in Women's skeet shooting at the 2016 Summer Olympics where she won the gold medal, and at the 2020 Summer Olympics where she won the silver medal.
Amber English is an American sport shooter who won the gold medal in the women's skeet at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, setting a new Olympic record of 56. Amber English is currently serving as a First lieutenant in the United States Army.

British Shooting is the national governing body for ISSF shooting sport disciplines in the United Kingdom. The organisation serves as a single shooting body to receive public funding from UK Sport and Sport England, administer high performance squads and talent pathways as well as serve as the member body for shooting sports with organisations such as the British Olympic Association and ISSF.

Furthermore, several significant changes are instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the new final format and the substitution of the mixed team trap competitions with the mixed team skeet.
The 2022 World Shotgun Championships were held from 19 September to 12 October 2022 in Osijek, Croatia. The championships are a major qualification event for the 2024 Olympic Games, with quota places for the Games being distributed in both men's and women's individual trap and skeet competitions.
