Kaohsiung, officially Kaohsiung City, is a special municipality located in southern Taiwan. It ranges from the coastal urban center to the rural Yushan Range with an area of 2,952 km2 (1,140 sq mi). Kaohsiung City has a population of approximately 2.73 million people as of October 2023 and is Taiwan's third most populous city and largest city in southern Taiwan.
Hyannis is the largest of the seven villages in the town of Barnstable, Massachusetts, United States. The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) is the governing body of interscholastic sports for most public schools in New York outside New York City. The organization was created in 1923, after a predecessor organization called the New York State Public High School Association of Basketball Leagues began in 1921 to bring consistency to eligibility rules and to conduct state tournaments. It consists of 768 member high schools from the state divided into 11 geographic sections. While as its name suggests the vast majority of its members are public, it does include a number of private and Catholic high schools. Most of these are located in Central New York and the Capital District, where parallel sanctioning bodies for private schools do not exist. It is a member of the National Federation of State High School Associations as well as the New York State Federation of Secondary School Athletic Associations.
LaurenHill Academy is an English-language public school in Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada. It opened in the fall of 1992, after the closure of St. Laurent High School and Sir Winston Churchill High School, which was built in 1961. Formerly part of the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal, the school has been part of the English Montreal School Board since the 1998–99 school year. In 1999, the neighbouring Father McDonald High School was closed, and for the 1999-2000 school year LaurenHill Academy took over the location and divided itself into Junior and Senior Campuses.
