Anthony Barkhovtsev, better known by his in-game name Hard, is a Canadian professional League of Legends player. Hard previously played for Echo Fox in the North American League of Legends Championship Series, Cloud9 Tempest in the North American League of Legends Challenger Series, and Golden Guardians Academy in the LCS Academy League.

Career

Cloud9 owner Jack Entienne alleged that LA Renegades owner Chris Badawi attempted to poach Hard while he was still under contract with C9, a claim denied by Renegades management. [1]

Hard was announced as part of Echo Fox's starting roster on January 5, 2016. Along with two other foreign players on his team, Froggen and kfo, he missed the first game of the 2016 Spring NA LCS because his team was unable to obtain proper documentation in time. [2] [3] [4]

Echo Fox finished last in the 2016 Summer NA LCS, but survived their relegation match. [5]

Gravity Gaming was a North American League of Legends team that competed in the North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). The team was originally known as Curse Academy and was the second team of Team Curse. Upon qualifying for the LCS the team was required by league rules to rebrand. The team is based in San Dimas, California and plays games in the NA LCS Studio in Sawtelle, Los Angeles. The Gravity LCS spot was sold in December 2015 to former NBA player Rick Fox, who then rebranded the team as Echo Fox.

Renegades (esports)

Renegades is a professional esports organization with teams competing in Overwatch, Paladins, Vainglory, Super Smash Bros., Rocket League and iRacing. It previously had a League of Legends team that qualified for the 2016 North American League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), but it was sold to Team EnVyUs after the owners were banned from NA LCS ownership.

Echo Fox Former American esports franchise

Echo Fox was an American esports organization. It was founded on December 18, 2015 by retired basketball player Rick Fox, who created Echo Fox after he purchased the NA LCS spot of Gravity Gaming. The organization had expanded into various games with teams competing in titles such as Call of Duty, CS:GO, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Injustice 2,Madden NFL 19, Mortal Kombat, Super Smash Bros., and Street Fighter V. Echo Fox had several fighting game players with championship titles and are a well known organization in the professional scene.

Zachary Scuderi, better known as Sneaky, is a professional League of Legends player, streamer and prominent crossplayer. He played AD Carry for Cloud9 of the League of Legends Championship Series North America until 2019. He won the 2013 Summer NA LCS and 2014 Spring NA LCS with Cloud9. Scuderi also gained media attention after posting a cosplay for a popular female League of Legends character, and has since been regularly posting further crossplays on his Twitter, Instagram, and Patreon accounts.
