Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan are an Indian director and writer duo predominantly working in Tamil film industry. [1] Hari and Harish are pioneers as filmmakers of three consecutive first-of-its-kind movies in Tamil, namely Orr Eravuu (2010), India's First Viewpoint film, [2] Ambuli (2012), first Stereoscopic 3D Tamil film [3] and Aaaah (2014), first horror anthology Tamil film. [4]
In 2022, Hari and Harish made their Telugu cinema directorial debut with Yashoda , starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu. [5] [6]

Nammalvar Lingusamy,, is an Indian film director, screenwriter, tuning expert and film producer in Tamil cinema based in Chennai. Lingusamy made his directorial debut with the Mammootty starrer family-drama Aanandham in 2001 and followed by successful films as Run (2002), Sandakozhi (2005), Paiyaa (2010) and Vettai (2012). He and his brother N. Subash Chandrabose have also produced films through his production company, Thirupathi Brothers.
Orr Eravuu is a 2010 Tamil independent horror film directed by three debutants, Hari Shankar, Hareesh Narayan and Krishna Sekhar. The film is about Paranormal occurrences. Spirits and ghosts are believed to have a close kinship with the night. Based on this concept Orr Eravuu was made. The entire film was shot from the protagonist's viewpoint, using shaky camerawork, reportedly the first Indian viewpoint film.

The movie ran for over 100 days and became a box-office success. The film was released on 17 February 2012.
Neethaane En Ponvasantham is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film co written, co produced and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, starring Jiiva and Samantha. This film is a shot simultaneously in Telugu, Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu. The film is based on a story written by Reshma Ghatala, who produced the film alongside Elred Kumar, Venkat Somasundaram and Menon. The cinematography was handled by M. S. Prabhu and Om Prakash. The film's background score and soundtrack were composed by Ilaiyaraaja which went on to become a chartbuster, and the soundtrack album sold a record 8.5 million units through various platforms on its release.

Biriyani is a 2013 Indian Tamil-language black comedy action thriller film written and directed by Venkat Prabhu. Produced by Studio Green, it stars Karthi and Hansika Motwani alongside an ensemble cast including Premji, Nassar, Ramki, Sampath Raj, Madhumitha, Jayaprakash, Prem, and Mandy Takhar. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the score and soundtrack of Biriyani, which marks his 100th film, while Sakthi Saravanan and Praveen-Srikanth handled cinematography and editing, respectively. Filming started in November 2012, lasted for over nine months and took place primarily at Chennai, Hyderabad and Ambur. The film was released on 20 December 2013. The fim received mixed to positive reviews. The film was reported to be inspired by the 2004 American film Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, though Prabhu was lauded for making creative changes to the story. The film did a decent run and recovered its budget at the box-office.

Aaaah or Aah is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language anthology horror film written and directed by Hari & Harish, in their third venture following Orr Eravuu (2010) and Ambuli (2012). The film stars Gokulnath, Meghna, Bala Saravanan, and Bobby Simha. It features five different horror stories shot in five different places; Japan, Dubai, the midsea of the Bay of Bengal, a highway in Andhra Pradesh and a remote ATM booth in Tamil Nadu. The film was produced by KTVR Creative Frames, it was released on 28 November 2014 to mixed to positive reviews but had average collections.
Brahmotsavam is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language family melodrama film written and directed by Srikanth Addala. The film was co-produced by Prasad V. Potluri under the banner PVP cinema in association with G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment. It starts Mahesh Babu, Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Pranitha Subhash. Gopi Sundar scored the film while Mickey J. Meyer composed the film's soundtrack album. R. Rathnavelu and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handled the film's cinematography and editing respectively.

Janatha Garage is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Koratala Siva. The film stars Mohanlal, N. T. Rama Rao Jr., Samantha and Nithya Menen. The plot revoles around Sathyam (Mohanlal) and Anand an environmental activist. Anand is recruited by Sathyam, who operates a large automobile service center named "Janatha Garage" and undertakes law enforcement through his group of automobile mechanics, because the legal agencies are thought to be inadequate.
