The Harold Green Jewish Theatre (HGJT) is a professional non-profit theatre company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is the only non-profit Jewish theatre company in Toronto. [1] [2]
The theatre was founded in 2006 with a mandate to "illuminate humanity through a Jewish perspective." [3] [4] [5] [6] The company aims to present, celebrate, and preserve stories about Jewish culture, history, and beliefs. [7] In addition to performances, the HGJT also engages in educational outreach programs. [1]
Each season, the HGJT produces 3-5 productions. [7]
The HGJT's artistic directors are David Eisner and Avery Saltzman. [8]
The HGJT, in partnership with theatre company Artists in Residence, launched The Barlin-Daniels Emerging Artists Initiative in order to support and motivate new theatre artists. [9] [10]

Carousel Theatre is a professional theatre company for young audiences located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. American Idiot is a sung-through rock musical based on the concept album of the same name by rock band Green Day. After a run at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre in 2009, the show moved to the St. James Theatre on Broadway. Previews began on March 24, 2010, and the musical officially opened on April 20, 2010. The show closed on April 24, 2011, after 422 performances. While Green Day did not appear in the production, vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong performed the role of "St. Jimmy" occasionally throughout the run.

Top Chef Canada is a Canadian reality competition television series and is considered one of the most prestigious culinary competitions in Canada. The show premiered on April 11, 2011, on Food Network Canada. The first season consisted of 13 episodes, with 16 contestants vying for a grand prize of $100,000 and a GE Monogram kitchen valued at $30,000. Like the original American series, each week the chef contestants compete against each other in culinary challenges. Contestants are judged by a panel of professional chefs and other notables from the food and wine industry, with one or more contestants being eliminated each week. The Canadian edition uses the same graphics and music as the American version of the program.
