Career

Born in Cleckheaton, Senior moved from Norristhorpe to Bradford City in November 1927. [1] He scored 1 goal in 6 league appearances for the club, [2] before moving to Derry City in July 1929. [1] He later played for Peterborough & Fletton United and Frickley Colliery. [3]

Bradford City Association Football Club—also known informally as Bradford City—are an English football club founded in Bradford in 1903 to introduce the sport to the West Riding of Yorkshire, which until then had been almost entirely inclined towards rugby league. Before they had even played their first game, City were elected to the Football League to replace Doncaster Rovers in Division Two, and took over the Valley Parade stadium, which has been their permanent home ground ever since. The club won the Division Two title in 1908 and the FA Cup in 1911, both under the management of Peter O'Rourke, before they were relegated from Division One in 1921–22.

Peter Jackson was an English footballer whose career mirrored that of his twin brother David. Peter Jackson was a half back who started his career with his brother at Wrexham, where their father Peter senior was manager. They also played together at Marine, Tranmere Rovers, Frickley Colliery, Altrincham and Hyde United. Peter died in September 1991, aged 54.

Harold "Harry" Wright was an English professional footballer of the 1920s. Born in Staveley, he joined Gillingham from Welbeck Colliery in 1920 and went on to make 33 appearances for the club in The Football League, after which he returned to the colliery team. In 1922, he joined Bradford City, where he played for five years before joining Staveley Town in November 1927.
