Previously,he served as the State Treasurer of Missouri from 1993 to 2001 and represented the 136th district in the Missouri House of Representatives from 1983 to 1989. Since leaving public office,Holden has worked at Webster University,where he founded the Holden Public Policy Forum,and serves as the chairman and CEO of the United States Heartland China Association.
