Harry Piekema (born 23 May 1959, in The Hague) is a Dutch actor, director and voice actor. His most famous role was as Van Dalen in the commercials of Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn. He played this role from 2004 until 2015. [1] [2] [3]
Piekema played the Supermarket manager Van Dalen between 2004 and 2015. [1] This role was well received and earned him an oeuvre award during the Gouden Loeki awards, the biggest award for commercials in the Netherlands. [4] His final commercial in januari 2015 also received the Gouden Loeki of 2015. [5]
In 2013, Piekema provided his voice as the main narrator of De Nieuwe Wildernis. [6]
In 2016, Piekema would get roles in Fataal and the television series Caps Club. In 2017, Piekema debuted as Hoofdpiet in Sinterklaasjournaal. In 2019, Piekema reached the quarter-finals in It Takes 2. [7]
In 2020, Piekema temporarily took over the presentation of Lachen om Home Video's. Since 2021, Piekema has returned to playing in commercials, taking the role of Handige Harry in the commerciels of phone provider 50+ Mobiel. In 2022, Piekema participated in season 22 of the Dutch survival show Expeditie Robinson . [8]

Olli is a Dutch children's book character and a stuffed toy. The character Olli was created in 2004 by Dutch designer and film director Hein Mevissen along with writer Diederiekje Bok as a character for a bottled mineral water. Olli was one of the many characters used on the packages and posters of the bottled water brand and John's Phone. Olli was launched at a party of MTV In Rotterdam in 2004. In 2013, Olli was again part of a campaign, this time to save the Rotterdam Zoo Diergaarde Blijdorp. Olli is part of the Ollimania family which is the company that created and owns all characters. After the launch, Olli became the symbol of Rotterdam and professional football club Feyenoord. On 10 September 2015, Ollimania and its creators Hein Mevissen and Diederiekje Bok donated a huge Olli statue to the Sophia children's hospital in Rotterdam.
Loeki de Leeuw is a Dutch stop-motion TV animation, broadcast on Dutch public television between 1972 and 2004, with revivals in 2019 and again since 2021. It features a puppet lion in short sketches usually not longer than five seconds, which appeared as bumpers between commercial breaks. Jimmy Joy is a Dutch meal replacement company. The company was founded in 2014 by Joey van Koningsbruggen. Soylent was not yet available in Europe, so van Koningsbruggen bought the ingredients himself and vlogged about it on YouTube, which gained him the initial customer base. Nine months later, the company had revenues of over $200,000 per month, and sold to 45 countries. The company was formerly known as Joylent, but agreed to change its name in February 2017 after Soylent asked them to. Its customers mostly consist of young men, some of whom rely exclusively on Jimmy Joy shakes as their main source of nutrition. Germany and the U.K. are its biggest export markets.
