Hasbulla grew up in Makhachkala, Republic of Dagestan, Russia, and is the son of Magomed Magomedov, a plumber.[4][5] He is a Muslim[6] and of Dargin ethnicity.[7][8] His informal interpreter, Surkhay Sungurov, said that Hasbulla convinced a friend to drive 200 kilometers to help him escape school. Once he left, he began creating videos for the internet.[9]
He has a form of dwarfism caused by a growth hormone deficiency and stands at 99cm (3ft 3in) tall, weighing 20kg (44.1lb).[10][11] His form of dwarfism is unknown, as he stated that doctors have never given him a definitive diagnosis. The New York Times wrote that he is passionate about "shooting guns, driving fast cars, practicing fighting moves, and playing pranks."[9]
He owns a Scottish Fold cat named Barsik (Барсик, 'little leopard') and an Aegean cat named Znany. In addition to his cats, Hasbulla also owns a pony named Борис (Boris), meaning "fighter" or "warrior." Furthermore, he drives a white Lada Riva, affectionately nicknamed "Semyorka".[citation needed]
Career
One of Hasbulla's first viral videos shows him driving a motorized scooter and lecturing a young person on a bicycle about pandemic restrictions, telling him to go home. In another video, Hasbulla was eating strawberries.[9]
During 2021 and 2022, he had a satirical publicized dispute with Tajikistani social media influencer Abdu Rozik[12] and Uzbek Erali.[13]
In September 2022, Hasbulla signed a five-year promotion contract with the UFC.[14][15][16][17]
Since 2021, Hasbulla has participated in commercial ventures, including licensing his image to be used in products[18] and releasing an NFT collection.[19]
In March 2023, after touring the United States with Nelk, he was accused of abusing his pet cat, by pulling her ear and hitting her.[20][21]
