Hassab Hospital or Hassab Clinic, established 1950, is the first private hospital in Alexandria, Egypt. It was founded by Dr. Mohammed Aboul-Fotouh Hassab and his brother Dr. Hussein-Kamel Hassab. The hospital was and is still popular for its orthopedic speciality, although it is a general hospital with various medical specialties.

Mohammed Aboul-Fotouh Hassab was an Egyptian gastro-intestinal surgeon. He is known for the description of his operation Hassab's decongestion operation for the treatment of oesophageal varices as a result of portal hypertension. Hassab was one of the surgery professors in medical school at Alexandria University in Egypt.

Hassab's decongestion operation is an elective surgical procedure to treat esophageal varices in patients with portal hypertension as a result of cirrhosis of the liver. It was created by Dr. Mohammed Aboul-Fotouh Hassab, a professor of surgery at Alexandria University in Egypt.

Henry Sleeper Harper was an American businessman. He was an incorporator of Harper & Brothers when the firm became a corporation in 1896. Harper is remembered as a passenger on the RMS Titanic when it sank on April 15, 1912, particularly because his Pekingese called Sun Yat-sen was one of three dogs to survive the sinking of the Titanic, and also for his work to save the Adirondack forests from logging.

Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College is a self financing Medical College located in Karakonam, a town in the Thiruvananthapuram District of the State of Kerala. The college is attached to the Dr. Somervell Memorial Mission Hospital. It was established in 2002 and the institution is affiliated to the University of Kerala, Kerala University of Health Sciences. Musa Pak Express is a passenger train operated daily by Pakistan Railways between Multan and Lahore. The trip takes approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes to cover a published distance of 312 kilometres (194 mi), traveling along a stretch of the Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line. The train named after Syed Abul Hassab Musa Pak, a famous Sufi saint who lived in Multan between 1535–1592. It is one of the best train to travel between Lahore and Multan due to low fares.
