Hasson Arbubakrr (born December 9, 1960) is a former gridiron football defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) and the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the ninth round of the 1983 NFL draft. He used to be known as "Tic Tic Boom" while on the Minnesota Vikings. He played a single season with the Vikings and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1983–1984) before playing four years in the CFL with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1985–1987) and the Ottawa Rough Riders. [1]
Raised in Newark, New Jersey, Arbubakrr played his first two years of prep football at Malcolm X Shabazz High School before transferring for his final two seasons and graduating from Weequahic High School in 1979. [2] Arbubakrr played college football at Pasadena Community College and Texas Tech. [3]
Arbubakrr is the father of basketball player Hassan Whiteside. [4] [5]
Idrees Kenyatta Walker is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons. Walker played college football for the University of Florida. A first-round pick in the 2001 NFL draft, he played professionally for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL.
Dwight L. Smith is an American former professional football player who was a safety for eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Akron Zips, earning consensus All-American honors. He was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of the 2001 NFL draft, and he also played in the NFL for the New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions. Smith earned a Super Bowl ring with the Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII.
Donald Amechi Igwebuike is a Nigerian-born former American football kicker who played professionally for the National Football League (NFL)'s Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1985 to 1989. He was selected by the Buccaneers in the tenth round of the 1985 NFL draft. He is the seventh place all-time scorer for the Buccaneers with 416 overall points. Often kicking barefoot, Igwebuike also played for the 1990 Minnesota Vikings and in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Baltimore Stallions in 1994 and the Memphis Mad Dogs in 1995. Earlier, he attended Clemson University and was brought on as the kicker for the football team on the recommendation of his childhood friend and graduating Clemson kicker Obed Ariri. He agreed to join the team as long as he could continue playing for the soccer team, and took a football scholarship to save the soccer team a slot. His first attempt, a 52-yarder, was during the first American football game he had ever attended. He started as the kicker for the Tigers' 1981 national championship team.
