Hatun Tipiqucha (Quechua hatun big, tipi Pennisetum clandestinum [1] (a grass species), tipiy to husk maize, to snap, to break, qucha lake, [2] [3] Hispanicized spelling Ccatuntipicocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Ayacucho Region, Paucar del Sara Sara Province, Oyolo District. [4] It lies south of the lakes Tipiqucha and Huch'uy Tipiqucha, and northeast of the lakes Yanaqucha ("black lake") and Kunturqucha.

The Chanka people are a Quechua people ethnic group living in the regions of Apurimac, Ayacucho and Lamas of Peru. Enemies of the Incas, they were centered primarily in Andahuaylas, located in the modern-day region of Apurímac. The Chankas were divided into three groups: the Hanan Chankas, or the Upper Chankas, the Urin Chankas, or the Lower Chankas, and the Villca, or Hancohuallos. The Hanan Chankas had their center in Andahuaylas, the Urin Chankas in Uranmarca, and the Villca in Vilcas Huaman, Ayacucho.

Auquihuato is a cinder cone in the Andes of Peru, 4,980 metres (16,339 ft) high. It is situated in the Ayacucho Region, Paucar del Sara Sara Province, on the border of the districts Colta and Oyolo. Auquihuato lies northeast of Sara Sara volcano.

Huacrish mountain in Peru

Huacrish is a mountain in the west of the Huayhuash mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,622 metres (18,445 ft) high. It is located in the Ancash Region, Bolognesi Province, Pacllon District, and in the Lima Region, Cajatambo Province, Copa District. Huacrish lies on the sub-range west of Yerupaja, northeast of the mountain Auxilio and southeast of the Auxilio Lake.

Inti Watana, Intiwatana or Pumaqucha is an archaeological site in Peru. It is located in the Ayacucho Region, Vilcas Huamán Province, Vischongo District, at the lake Pumaqucha.

Lake Sahuaccocha is a lake in Peru located in the Ayacucho Region, Lucanas Province, Chipao District. It is situated at a height of about 4,386 metres (14,390 ft). Sawaqucha lies northeast of the lakes named Yawriwiri, Urqunqucha and Kunturqucha, northwest of Tipiqucha, Pukaqucha, another lake named Urqunqucha and Islaqucha, and north of Lake Apiñaccocha.

Huch'uy Tipiqucha is a lake in Peru located in the Ayacucho Region, Paucar del Sara Sara Province, Oyolo District. It lies between the lakes Tipiqucha in the north and Hatun Tipiqucha in the south, northeast of the lakes Yanaqucha, Kunturqucha and Chawpi Tipiqucha.

Quriwayrachina, Quri Wayrachina, Hatun Quriwayrachina or Hatun Quri Wayrachina is an archaeological site of the Inca period in Peru located in the Ayacucho Region, Lucanas Province, Carmen Salcedo District. It lies near the mountain Inka Pallanka which is venerated as an apu by the people of the area. There are two platforms which are known as Hatun Quri Wayrachina and Huch'uy Quri Wayrachina by the locals. On April 20, 2011, the site was declared a National Cultural Heritage by Resolución Viceministerial No. 459-2011-VMPCIC-MC.

Hatun Misapata or Misapata is an archaeological site in the Ayacucho Region in Peru. It was declared a National Cultural Heritage by Resolución Viceministerial Nº 459-2011-VMPCIC-MC of April 20, 2011. Hatun Misapata is situated in the Lucanas Province, Aucara District.
