Hauntology is a 2024 American adventure horror thriller film directed and written by Parker Brennon in their feature-length debut and starring Samantha Robinson, Jaidyn Triplett, and Naomi Grossman. 12-year-old Venus (played by Jaidyn Triplett) is leaving home because of problems with her parents. Her sister, Jazmin (played by Samantha Russell), soon finds her and tries to persuade her to return home. To convince Venus, Jazmin offers to share some stories about their hometown.One by one, Jazmin tells her stories, and with each tale, things become increasingly strange. [6]
Marvin John Nance, known professionally as Jack Nance, was an American actor. A longtime collaborator of filmmaker David Lynch, Nance portrayed the lead in Lynch's directorial debut Eraserhead (1977). He continued to work with Lynch throughout his career, which included a recurring role as Pete Martell on Twin Peaks (1990–1991).
Nancy Kyes, known professionally as Nancy Loomis, is an American actress. A frequent collaborator of filmmaker John Carpenter, she portrayed Annie Brackett in Halloween (1978) and also appeared in his films Assault on Precinct 13 (1976) and The Fog (1980). She reprised her role as Annie in Halloween II (1981) and made an appearance as a different character in the stand-alone Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), her last film role until Hauntology in 2024.
Leslie Erin Grossman is an American actress. She is known for her role as Lauren on The WB sitcom What I Like About You, and for her frequent collaborations with Ryan Murphy, appearing as Mary Cherry on The WB's comedy-drama series Popular (1999–2001), and as various characters on the FX anthology series American Horror Story since 2017. Grossman also had a recurring role on the television series 10 Things I Hate About You, a reboot of the original cult classic movie of the same name.
