Headroom Studios is a music recording studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was originally started by Kyle Pulley and Joe Reinhart in 2008 in a room in a live/work artist warehouse collective, located in North Philadelphia, until it moved to its current location in a commercial building in the North Philadelphia neighborhood of Kensington. Pulley and Reinhart were college classmates who were active in the Philadelphia DIY punk scene who decided to partner after graduation in order create the studio to start their careers in music. [2] [3] In addition to being producers, Pulley and Reinhart are active musicians playing in Thin Lips (Pulley) and Hop Along (Reinhart). [4] [5]
Artists such as Modern Baseball, Hop Along, Algernon Cadwallader, Remo Drive, Adult Mom, Shamir, [6] The Districts, Alex G, Frances Quinlan, [7] Prince Daddy & The Hyena, Beach Bunny, [8] Joyce Manor, Diet Cig, Kississippi, Thin Lips, Bad Moves, Mal Blum, Field Mouse, The World is a Beautiful Place and I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Mt. Joy, Vundabar, Timeshares, Snowing, and Katie Ellen, have recorded, mixed or otherwise worked on songs or albums at Headroom Studios and/or with Pulley/Reinhart. [1]
Let Freedom Reign is the third studio album by American R&B recording artist Chrisette Michele, released November 30, 2010 on Def Jam Recordings. Production for the album took place at several recording studios and was handled entirely by record producer Chuck Harmony, who also co-wrote most of the album with Michele.

Modern Baseball (MoBo) was an American indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania consisting of Bren Lukens, Jake Ewald, Sean Huber, and Ian Farmer. The band formed in 2012 at Drexel University and released their first album, Sports, on Lame-O Records that same year. Their following albums, You're Gonna Miss It All and Holy Ghost, were released on Run For Cover Records in 2014 and 2016 respectively. The group announced an indefinite hiatus in 2017.
Low Cut Connie is an American rock and roll band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Low Cut Connie has become the alter ego for frontman, pianist, and songwriter Adam Weiner, who has been the band's only constant member since its formation. Beginning as an impromptu recording session in 2010, Low Cut Connie gradually evolved into a vehicle for Weiner's songwriting and his onstage persona. The band has earned praise for its high-energy live performances, which Los Angeles Weekly described as "unmatched in all of rock right now." NPR Music described Weiner as “masterfully fluent in the foundational languages of Western pop.” Low Cut Connie has also gained notoriety for attracting high-profile endorsements such as a surprise inclusion on Barack Obama’s Spotify Summer Playlist in 2015, and a personal association with Elton John, who has called the band one of his favorites. Shamir Bailey is an American singer and songwriter from Las Vegas, Nevada. His debut extended play (EP), Northtown, was released in June 2014 to positive reviews. In October 2014, he signed to XL Recordings and released the single "On the Regular". His debut LP Ratchet was released on May 19, 2015 in the United States. Since then he has released seven independent studio albums, Hope (2017), Revelations (2017), Resolution (2018), Be the Yee, Here Comes the Haw (2019), Cataclysm (2019), Shamir (2020), and Heterosexuality (2022).
