Hearts of Saints is an American contemporary Christian alternative rock worship band, while they were formerly known as, Special D. They come from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where the band started making music in 2005, and their frontman is Craig Felker. The first studio album, Hearts of Saints, was released by Revolution Art, in 2010. Their subsequent studio album, For All of Us, was released independently, in 2013.

Background

Hearts of Saints is a contemporary Christian alternative rock worship band from Hopkinsville, Kentucky, while they were formed in 2005, being known as Special D. [1] [2] They changed the name to Hearts of Saints around 2009. Their current members are lead vocalist, Craig Felker, guitarist and background vocalist, Jesse Grisham, and bassist, Joel Purdy, while their past members were background vocalist and guitarist, L.J. Granstaff, and drummer, Jason Killebrew. [1] [2]

Music history

The band commenced as a musical entity in 2005, with their first release, Over and Over, an extended play as Special D, that was released independently, in 2008. [1] They released, a studio album, Hearts of Saints, on January 26, 2010, with Revolution Art. Sanctus Real is an American Christian rock band formed in Toledo, Ohio, in 1996. The group is composed of Chris Rohman, Mark Graalman (drums), and Dustin Lolli. Audio Adrenaline was an American Christian rock band that formed in 1986 at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Kentucky. The band gained recognition during the 1990s and received two Grammy Awards and multiple Dove Awards. Audio Adrenaline were regular performers at the annual Creation Festival, Spirit West Coast festival, Agape Music Festival, and Alive Festival. In 2007, the group disbanded due to lead singer Mark Stuart's spasmodic dysphonia. During this time, they released eight studio albums.

Sound of the Saints is the tenth and final studio album by Audio Adrenaline. It is their only album to be released without any original members in the lineup. Fair Trade Services alongside Columbia Records released the album on May 4, 2015. Audio Adrenaline worked with Seth Mosley in the production of this album.

Their members are lead vocalist, Ben Kristijanto, guitarist, Bill Kristijanto, bass guitarist, Tim Barnes, and drummer, Jason Ferris. They released, The Real Life, with DREAM Records, and this album was reviewed by many Christian music publications.

Fusebox was an American contemporary Christian music band from Atlanta, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee, and they formed in 2000 and disbanded in 2006, while their frontman was Billy Buchanan. They released, Lost in Worship, with Inpop Records and Elevate Records, in 2002. Through the same label they released Once Again in 2004, and saw the single, "Once Again", placed on the Billboard Christian Songs chart.

Circleslide are an American Christian alternative indie rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, and they were formed in 1999. Their members are lead vocalist and guitarist, Gabe Martinez, bass guitarist, Eric Vickers, lead guitarist, Jonathan DeAnda, and drummer, Lee Yoder. The Great Commission is an American Christian hardcore from Riverside, California. The band started making music in 2007. Their Original membership includes is Justin Singh, Angela Razo, D.J. Burr, Derek C, Matt B, & Chris Ryan. With members Christian, Nelson, Rodney and Solomon joining in as members left. The band released an independently made extended play, The Great Commission, in 2008. They signed to Strike First Records, where they released, And Every Knee Shall Bow, a studio album, in 2009. Their subsequent studio album, Heavy Worship, was released by Ain't No Grave Records, in 2011. The latest recording, Firework, an extended play, was released by Ain't No Grave Recordings, in 2012.

The Gray Havens are an American Christian folk pop husband and wife duo, David and Licia Radford, from Crystal Lake, Illinois. They started their music recording careers in 2012. Their first release, an extended play, Where Eyes Don't Go, was released by Zodlounge Music, in 2013. Their first full album, Fire and Stone, was released in 2015 with funds raised on Kickstarter

Pioneer, formerly News from Verona, is an American Christian music band. They come from Indianapolis, Indiana. The band started making music in 2008. Their membership is Chad Shirrell, Dalton Meyers, Dan Voris, and Dustin Jones, with former members being Josh Randolph and Nick Berry. The band released, an extended play as News from Verona, All I Know Is I Know Nothing, independently, in 2010. Their next release, a studio album, was released by Slospeak Records, Pioneer, in 2012. They released, a second extended play, Passive Aggression, Pt. 1, in 2015, with Slospeak Records.

Benjamin Lennart Cantelon is a Canadian Christian musician based in the United Kingdom, who primarily plays a contemporary Christian style of worship music. He has released three extended plays, Daylight Breaks Through in 2007, with Survivor Records, Introducing Ben Cantelon in 2009, with Kingsway Music, and The Ascent, Vol 1 in 2016, and two studio albums, both with Kingsway Music, Running After You in 2009, and Everything in Colour in 2012.

OBB is an American pop rock band made up of the three Oswald brothers, Zach, Jacob, and Nich. They come from Atlanta, Georgia, where the band started making music in 2008. They have released four extended plays, 3 in 2011, Live, Life, Loving in 2012, OBB in 2013, and Feelin' like Christmas in 2014. The group have also released one studio album, Bright Side in 2014, and an independent album, Ready Set Go in 2009.

Lovelite is an American Christian music pop rock worship band from Southern California, where they play a version of Christian rock, CCM, indie rock, and synthpop music.
