Uppsala is the county seat of Uppsala County and the fourth-largest city in Sweden, after Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. It had 177,074 inhabitants in 2019.
Dalarna County is a county or län in central Sweden (Svealand). It borders on the counties of Uppsala, Jämtland, Gävleborg, Västmanland, Örebro and Värmland. It also borders on the Norwegian counties of Hedmark and Trøndelag to the west. It was formerly known as Kopparberg County until the name was changed to that of the provincial region on 1 January 1997. The province of Dalarna is slightly larger than the county, as the westernmost part of Ljusdal Municipality belongs to it.

Stortorget is a public square in Gamla Stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. It is the oldest square in Stockholm, the historical centre on which the medieval urban conglomeration gradually came into being. Today, the square is frequented by tens of thousands of tourists annually, and is occasionally the scene for demonstrations and performances. It is traditionally renowned for its annual Christmas market offering traditional handicrafts and food.
The National Academy of Mime and Acting (NAMA) (Swedish: Teaterhögskolan i Stockholm), was a school in Stockholm for acting and mime. This institution was also known under additional different names in English, including Stockholm University College of Acting and Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts.
Lena Endre is a Swedish actress of film and television, primarily in the Swedish and Norwegian markets, known for her parts in the Liv Ullmann film Trolösa (2000), and the Millennium series of films, based on the eponymous trio of Stieg Larsson books. Endre made her English-language debut in 2012, in Paul Thomas Anderson's movie The Master, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Bollhuset, also called Stora Bollhuset, Bollhusteatern, and Gamla Bollhuset at various times, was the name of the first theater in Stockholm, Sweden; it was the first Swedish theater and the first real theater building in the whole of Scandinavia. It was built in 1627 for ball sports and used in this way for forty years. The name Lejonkulan, however, was, in fact, the name of a different building, which was also used by the same theater in the 17th century.
The Stenborg theatre, also called Svenska Komiska Teatern, Komiska Teatern and Munkbroteatern, was a historical Swedish 18th century theatre, active between 1784 and 1799 in Gamla stan in Stockholm. It was the second theatre of Stockholm during the Gustavian age. In 1784-87, before the inauguration of the theatre of Ristell in Bollhuset, it was the only dramatic theatre of the native language in Stockholm.

Hedemora gammelgård is a local museum in Hedemora, Dalarna County, Sweden, located at the Badelundaåsen slope towards lake Hönsan.
Järnhandelns hus, also known as Gamla järnhandeln, is a building located in the block Orren in Hedemora, Dalarna County, Sweden. The building was erected 1905–1906 for ironmonger V A Grundin, after blueprints by Carl Johan Carlsson (Perne). The house has three floors and a basement. On the ground floor there were spaces for three stores and a further five rooms. On the two upper floors thirteen and eight rooms were located, and located around the house were a number of smaller spaces, such as bathrooms and porches. Many changes were made to the building, especially during the 1930s. In 1921 a vault was added in the premises of the Lantmannabankens, designed by Perne. A water closet and a central heating system were installed 1930–1932.

Wahlmanska huset, also gamla varmbadhuset is a building in Hedemora, Sweden, and a listed building since 2010. The house is named after the architect Lars Israel Wahlman, and was built in 1899 as the town's bath. It served as such until 1974, when the swimming- and sports venue Vasahallen was built. Wahlmanska huset was then left to degenerate until 1982, when a restoration was conducted and the building became a gallery for temporary art exhibitions.
The old pharmacy of Hedemora is a listed yard in Hedemora, Dalarna County, Sweden. It was probably built in 1779 by the merchant Eric Hult. It became pharmacy in 1849, when pharmacist C. A. Ruth bought the yard, and served as such until 1988. It was modified in 1897 after plans by architect Lars Israel Wahlman. Now (2017) the main building contains a café and a shop for building preservation equipment.
Dalarna County is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established as Kopparberg County in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It was renamed Dalarna County in 1998. It is conterminous with the county of Dalarna. The constituency currently elects nine of the 349 members of the Riksdag using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2022 general election it had 221,344 registered electors.
