Heidi Aassveen Halvorsen (born 1976) is a Norwegian handball goalkeeper. She played eight matches for the national handball team in 2001, and participated at the 2001 World Women's Handball Championship in Italy, where the Norwegian team placed second. [1] [2]

She hails from Tomter. Her clubs were Tomter, Eidsberg, Lunner, Stabæk, Aarhus and Bækkelaget. [3]

Stabæk Idrætsforening is a Norwegian multi-sports club in Bærum, a municipality bordering on Oslo in the west. It has sections for football, bandy, handball and alpine skiing. While the football team Stabæk Fotball is the most prominent, the men's bandy team has taken multiple national championships. The women's handball team plays in the first tier of Norwegian handball, and the men's team on the third tier. The club formerly had sections for athletics, sport shooting and orienteering. In early 2009 a new women's football team was started within Stabæk IF and was named Stabæk Fotball Kvinner, in reality a relocation of Asker Fotball's women's team.

Marit Breivik is a former Norwegian team handball player, and former head coach for the Norway women's national handball team. As coach, she has led the team to victory in the 2008 Olympic tournament, the World Women's Handball Championship in 1999, and four European Women's Handball Championships, in 1998 (Netherlands), 2004 (Hungary), 2006 (Sweden) and 2008 (Macedonia).

Monica Sandve is a Norwegian team handball player and Olympic medalist. She received a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney with the Norwegian national team. She played 94 matches and scored 245 goals for the Norwegian national handball team between 1995 and 2003. In addition to the bronze medal at the 2000 Olympics, Sandve represented Norway when the team won a silver medal at the 2001 World Women's Handball Championship in Italy, as well as winning a silver medal at the 2002 European Women's Handball Championship in Denmark.

Heidi Sundal is a Norwegian team handball player and Olympic medalist. She received silver medals at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul with the Norwegian national team, and at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Heidi Sundal played 269 games for the national team during her career, scoring 731 goals.

Hanne Halén is a Norwegian handball player. She played 13 matches for the Norway women's national handball team between 2001 and 2004. Halén won a silver medal with the Norwegian team at the 2001 World Women's Handball Championship in Italy.

Starting from August 2011 he served as the head coach of the Hungarian women's national team, and since November 2011 he was also in charge of the Hungarian top division side Győri ETO KC.
