The Society of Antiquaries of London (SAL) is a learned society "charged by its Royal Charter of 1751 with 'the encouragement, advancement and furtherance of the study and knowledge of the antiquities and history of this and other countries'." It is based at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London, and is a registered charity.

The Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland is a learned society based in Ireland, whose aims are "to preserve, examine and illustrate all ancient monuments and memorials of the arts, manners and customs of the past, as connected with the antiquities, language, literature and history of Ireland". Founded in 1849, it has a countrywide membership from all four provinces of Ireland. Anyone subscribing to the aims of the Society, subject to approval by Council, may be elected to membership. Current and past members have included historians, archaeologists and linguists, but the Society firmly believes in the importance of encouraging an informed general public, and many members are non-professionals.
Richard Ovenden is a British librarian and author. He currently serves as Bodley's Librarian in the University of Oxford, having been appointed in 2014. Ovenden also serves as the Director of the Bodleian Library's Centre for the Study of the Book and holds a Professorial Fellowship at Balliol College. Ovenden is a trustee of the Chawton House Library and vice-chair of the Kraszna-Krausz Foundation. In 2009, he was elected chair of the Digital Preservation Coalition, replacing Dame Lynne Brindley in a post he held until 2013. He was elected to the American Philosophical Society in 2015. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London, having been elected in 2008.
Helen Mary Geake is a British archaeologist and small finds specialist. She was one of the key members of Channel 4's long-running archaeology series Time Team.
Paul Conway is associate professor in the University of Michigan School of Information and has worked with Yale University and Duke University Universities after starting his career at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library. His research and educational work focuses primarily on digital preservation and electronic media. He has published extensively throughout his career on library preservation, conservation issues, and education of library and archives personnel.
Ian E. Wilson is a former chief Librarian and Archivist of Canada. Appointed in 2004, he had previously been National Archivist of Canada. With Roch Carrier, the then National Librarian, he developed and led the process to link the National Archive and National Library as a unified institution. His distinguished career has included archival and information management, university teaching and government service. In addition, he has published extensively on history, archives, heritage, and information management and has lectured both nationally and abroad. Wilson retired as head of LAC in April 2009.
David Sean Ferriero is a librarian, library administrator, and the 10th Archivist of the United States. He was Director of the New York Public Library, and before that, the University Librarian and Vice Provost for Library Affairs at Duke University. Prior to his Duke position, he worked for 31 years at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology library. Ferriero is the first librarian to serve as Archivist of the United States.
The British Library Preservation Advisory Centre raises public awareness of preservation issues in libraries and serves as a nexus for developing and promoting improved preservation management of library and archive materials in the UK and Ireland. It was established as the National Preservation Office by the British Library Board in 1984, and was renamed to its current name in 2009. As of 31 March 2014 the centre is now closed.

Helen Zeese Papanikolas was a Greek-American ethnic historian, novelist and folklorist who documented the immigrant experience in Utah and the American West through histories, memoirs, fiction, and poetry. Her ethnographic themes drew upon her experience as a Greek-American in a small western community.
David George Vaisey CBE is a British librarian who was Bodley's Librarian from 1986 until 1996.
Amanda Claridge is emerita professor of Roman archaeology at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her research interests include "Roman archaeology, especially art, marble sculpture and the marble trade; Roman architecture and urbanism; topography and monuments of the city of Rome and Latium. Antiquarian studies in 16th and 17th century Rome."
Karen L. Jefferson is an American archivist who serves as the Head of Archives and Special Collections at the Atlanta University Center. She has been a member of the Society of American Archivists for almost 40 years, serving on the Council from 1997-2000 and receiving the Fellows Award in 2004.
Helen Wong Smith is an American archivist and librarian. She is the archivist and librarian for University Records at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. She works in the University Archives and Manuscripts Collection of the Public Services Division. She is also an Archivist and Librarian for the State Historic Preservation Division as well as the Executive Director of the Kaua'i Historical Society. Smith is an active member of the Society of American Archivists, serving in many leadership roles including on the Council, the Committee on Education, and the Nominating Committee from 2012-2014. Smith was named an SAA Fellow on June 10, 2016.
Tanya Zanish-Belcher is an archivist and associate professor. She is currently the Director of Special Collections and Archives at the Z. Smith Reynolds Library at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. She specializes in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies and has written several books and articles as well as given presentations on these topics. She has been invited to speak on several occasions as an expert historian and archivist across the United States.
Sue E. Holbert was an archivist with the Minnesota Historical Society and the Minnesota State Archivist (1979-1993). She is now the owner of Booklady Used and Rare Books in Chicago, Illinois.
Marchand "Shonnie" Finnegan is University Archivist Emerita at SUNY Buffalo. She is known for her work as an archivist through several organizations, namely the SUNY at Buffalo University Archives, the Society of American Archivists and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference. She has been heavily awarded and recognized for her work in archives and libraries across the country in speeches and presentations and has written extensively on women's history, local history and the archival profession.
