Hemdee Kiwanuka (born August 31, 1975) is a Ugandan Film producer and actor. [1] [2] He has produced and acted in movies since 2007, such as The Brothers Grimsby (2016), Army of One (2020) and Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003). [3]
Hemdee Kiwanuka was born in 1975 in Kampala, Uganda, to Halima Namakula. [4] In 1987, he relocated to the United States.
Hemdee began his entertainment career as a Hip hop artist in the 1990s. [5] In 2013, Kiwanuka produced his first reality Television Show “Fame In The Family” which aired on E! Network. [6]
In 2018, Hemdee Kiwanuka premiered his film The Dark Within. [7] In the same year, he and GRB Studios signed a multiyear licensing and distribution deal with Black TV. [8]

Love Faces is a Ugandan drama thriller film written and directed by Usama Mukwaya. It is Mukwaya's feature film directorial debut, and stars Laura Kahunde, Moses Kiboneka Jr., Patriq Nkakalukanyi and Salome Elizabeth in leading roles. The film had a special screening on 31 August 2017 at the Uganda Film Festival 2017. It had its official release on 4 January 2018.
