Hemesh Kharkwal is an Indian politician from Uttarakhand. He is a member of the Indian National Congress.

In 2012, he was elected from Champawat district's Champawat assembly constituency of Uttarakhand. [1] He was also the MLA of Uttarakhand from 2012 to 2017. He's one of the leaders from Uttarakhand who had won many times in Champawat Uttarakhand. He unsuccessfully fought against BJP MLA Kailash Gahtori. He has also held office for three years continuing to win and also lose.

Premchand Aggarwal is an Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Aggarwal is a member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly from the Rishikesh constituency in Dehradun district where he has a residence. He is originally from Doiwala. He has been MLA for Rishikesh consecutively in three terms since the 2007 Assembly election. In the 2017 Assembly election he defeated his nearest rival Rajpal Singh Kharola of Indian National Congress by the margin of 14,801 votes.
