Hendrika ("Hennie") Penterman (born 29 September 1951) is a former medley swimmer from the Netherlands, who competed for her native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1968 in Mexico City, Mexico. There she was eliminated in the qualifying heats of the 200 m and 400 m individual medley. Four years later in Munich, West Germany, the same happened for Penterman in both her events. [1]
Medley is a combination of four different swimming styles—backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle—into one race. This race is either swum by one swimmer as individual medley (IM) or by four swimmers as a medley relay.

She was also a member of the 2012 Paralympic Team, and won a silver and bronze in London. Rebecca Meyers has also competed at the 2009 Summer Deaflympics which was held in Taiwan, which is also her only appearance at the Deaflympics.
