Dino Meneghin is an Italian former professional basketball player. He is widely considered to be the best Italian player ever, as well as one of Europe's all-time greats. A 2.06 m tall center, Meneghin was born in Alano di Piave, Veneto. On November 20, 1966, when he was 16 years old, he played in his first game in the Italian League, with Ignis Varese. He played the last game of his career at the age of 45. In 2003, Meneghin became a Basketball Hall of Fame player and in 2010, he became a FIBA Hall of Fame player.

Jean Paul "J. P." Izquierdo is a former Canadian football slotback who played seven seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Toronto Argonauts, Edmonton Eskimos and Calgary Stampeders. He was drafted by the Toronto Argonauts in the second round of the 1991 CFL Draft. He played CIS football at the University of Calgary and attended Saint Francis High School in Calgary, Alberta. While at the University of Calgary, Almon studied kinesiology. The Calgary Stampeders selected Almon in the fourth round of the 2002 CFL Draft, but he didn't make the team. After playing his final year of college eligibility, Almon was signed by the Lions. During the 2003 season, Almon played one game for the Lions.
