Bassano is a town in Alberta, Canada. It is located on the Trans-Canada Highway approximately 140 kilometres (87 mi) southeast of Calgary and 160 kilometres (99 mi) northwest of Medicine Hat. It is also on the main line of the Canadian Pacific Railway. A short distance south of the town is the Bassano Dam, serves as a diversion structure which routes water through a canal into Lake Newell Reservoir which supplies water to the majority of the County of Newell for purposes like irrigation, recreation, and the County's drinking water.

Wildwood is a hamlet in west-central Alberta, Canada within Yellowhead County. It is located on the Yellowhead Highway, approximately 112 kilometres (70 mi) west of Edmonton and 82 kilometres (51 mi) east of Edson. The Yellowhead Highway's intersection with Cowboy Trail is 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) east of the hamlet. The Lobstick River, which flows from Chip Lake to the west, runs through the hamlet.
Dore Lake is a northern hamlet located on the south shore of Doré Lake, which is one of the largest lakes in northern Saskatchewan. Its name is the French word for "walleye". Dore Lake boasts excellent hunting and fishing. The community is accessed by Highway 924 and by Dore Lake Airport.
Timber Bay is a northern hamlet located in Northern Saskatchewan on the east side of Montreal Lake. It was once on the main highway leading north from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Now the main highway, Highway 2, is on the western side of the lake. Consequently, the community is accessible by a gravel road but is only 20 minutes by car from the community of Montreal Lake. In September 1951, the first school in the area was opened in an old log building that was next to a small store and garage owned by Henry Fornier. The first teacher was Bernard McIntyre. Students were from the families named Beatty, Fornier, Pruden and Lee. In 1952, a school was established at its present site.
Stewart Valley is a village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Saskatchewan Landing No. 167 and Census Division No. 8. It is on Highway 4, just south of the South Saskatchewan River, approximately 35 km (22 mi) north of the City of Swift Current in southern Saskatchewan. It is along the remains of the historic Swift Current-Battleford Trail.
