Lotto–Soudal Belgian cycling team

Lotto–Soudal is a Belgian professional cycling team at UCI WorldTeam level sponsored by the Belgian lottery and Soudal, an adhesives and sealants manufacturer. For the 2016 and 2017 editions of Paris–Nice, the 2018 Giro d'Italia, and the 2019 Tour de Pologne, the team raced under the name Lotto Fix ALL, and in a different colour of kit, to promote a particular product from the Soudal range. The same organisations also sponsor a women's cycling team, Lotto–Soudal Ladies.

Katusha–Alpecin Cycling team

Katusha–Alpecin was a Russian road bicycle racing team which competed at the UCI WorldTeam level using Canyon bikes. The team was created in 2008 by Igor Makarov within the framework of the previously established Russian Global Cycling Project, which was intended to help boost cycling in Russia. In 2017 the team took an international direction, still supported by Igor Makarov's company ARETI International Group, clothing company Katusha Sports and German shampoo manufacturer Alpecin. The team competed as a UCI ProTeam/WorldTour team between 2009 and 2019. Joaquim Rodríguez, Alexander Kristoff, Daniel Moreno, Simon Špilak, Filippo Pozzato, Luca Paolini, Ilnur Zakarin and Tony Martin are some of the most successful riders who rode for Katusha.

UCI World Tour

The UCI WorldTour is the premier men's elite road cycling tour, sitting above the UCI ProSeries and various regional UCI Continental Circuits. It refers to both the tour of 38 events and, until 2019, an annual ranking system based upon performances in these. The World Ranking was launched in 2009, and merged fully with its predecessor the UCI ProTour in 2011. UCI WorldTeams must compete at all events that were part of the tour prior to the 2017 expansion.

Bora–Hansgrohe German cycling team

Bora–Hansgrohe is a UCI WorldTeam cycling team established in 2010 with a German license, founded and managed by Ralph Denk. It is sponsored by BORA, a German manufacturer of extractor hoods & cooktops, and Hansgrohe, a bathroom fittings manufacturer. Its aim is "improving the image of road cycling in Germany".

Lisa Brennauer German cyclist

Lisa Brennauer is a German cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Ceratizit–WNT Pro Cycling. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics on the track in the women's team pursuit for the national team. On 24 September 2014 Brennauer became World Time Trial Champion at the World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain. In November 2015 she was announced as part of the Canyon–SRAM team's inaugural squad for the 2016 season.

Vitalogic Astrokalb Radunion Nö was a professional women's cycling team, based in Austria, which competed in elite road bicycle racing events such as the UCI Women's Road World Cup in 2014. Its title sponsors were Niederösterreichische RadUnion and Vitalogic, a supplier of dietary supplements.

Lennard Kämna is a German professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Bora–Hansgrohe. He rode with Team Stölting in 2015, before his team and Cult Energy Pro Cycling merged for the 2016 season.

Lars Herrmann is a German police officer and politician for the Alternative for Germany (AfD) and since 2017 member of the Bundestag, the federal legislative body. He is a member of the völkisch-nationalistic Flügel of his party.

The 2020 UCI Track Cycling World Championships were held in Berlin, Germany from 26 February to 1 March 2020.
