Altın Gün is a Dutch-Turkish psychedelic rock, also known as Anatolian rock, band from Amsterdam. It was founded by bassist Jasper Verhulst in 2016 when he posted an ad on Facebook looking for Turkish musicians. Their style has been described as "psychedelic" with a "dirty blend of funk rhythms, wah-wah guitars and analogue organs". Altın Gün also performs psychedelic rock covers of Turkish folk music. The band's vocalist Erdinç Ecevit Yıldız, is of Turkish origin, while the other four members are Dutch.
Melis Sezen is a Turkish actress. She made her television debut with the youth series Hayat Bazen Tatlıdır and "Sevgili Geçmiş" alongside Sevda Erginci for twice. With Sevgili Geçmiş's co-star Burak Yamantürk, she played in historical series Ya İstiklal Ya Ölüm, in which she portrayed "Nazan" for twice. She was cast in Siyah İnci, "Arkadaşlar İyidir". The 2018 Gercüş bombing happened in Gercüş, Batman Province in Umutlu village on 4 October 2018 around 6:00 (EEST) when Kurdistan Workers' Party militants detonated a remote-controlled bomb when an armoured personnel carrier carrying soldiers to Dargeçit, Mardin Province. 8 soldiers died and 1 other was heavily injured as a result.
