Hey Mama was a contemporary rock band from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The band Hey Mama stemmed from the folk-rock duo Avi & Celia. Avi Salloway and Celia Woodsmith teamed up Ben Kogan and Jared Seabrook to form Hey Mama in January 2009. The debut album, Hey Mama, was released on December 1, 2009. Hey Mama was recorded with Grammy Award nominated producer Jack Gauthier. The record also featured guest appearances from The Tecumseh Strings, a chamber group of Boston string players.
Hey Mama was known for their high-energy performances. The electrified sound blends new and old with Woodsmith's wailing on the washboard. The Boston Globe calls it, "Sexy roots swagger with populist fire." The band has played over 400 shows throughout the United States and Canada, building a loyal fan base and has received praise from Yankee , the Boston Globe , and NHPR .
Hey Mama has played several concerts supporting Taj Mahal, Leon Russell and Big Brother and the Holding Company.

Three Week Hero is an album released by rock singer P.J. Proby on April 8, 1969, by Liberty Records. The album contains a mixture of dramatic pop, blues, rock, and country style songs. While it did not succeed commercially, it is best remembered today as the first time all four members of Led Zeppelin recorded together in the studio. The album was reissued on CD in 1994.

Superchick has had five songs reach No. 1 on music charts, and their song "Stand in the Rain" held the No. 1 spot for nine weeks on R&R Christian Hit Radio (CHR) chart in 2006/2007.
"Boulevard of Broken Songs" is a popular mash-up mixed by American DJ and producer Party Ben in late 2004. The mix consists of elements from American rock band Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", English rock band Oasis's "Wonderwall", Scottish soft rock band Travis's "Writing to Reach You", and American rapper Eminem's "Sing for the Moment", which itself samples American hard rock band Aerosmith's "Dream On". "Sing for the Moment" was used solely because Party Ben did not have "Dream On" on hand and was on deadline for his Sixx Mixx radio show. Later versions used Aerosmith's original.

The BossHoss is a German band from Berlin, founded in 2004. They originally started with country and western style cover versions of famous pop, rock and hip hop songs, for example "Hot in Herre" by Nelly, "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "Hey Ya!" by Outkast. They incorporate stereotypical American cowboy behavior into their act; they wear Stetson hats, tank tops and large sunglasses, and display whiskey bottles. The band refers to their music style as "Country Trash Punk Rock."

Common Thread won all of its performers a Country Music Association Award for Album of the Year at the 1994 ceremony.

Rockabilly Blues is an album by American country singer Johnny Cash, released on Columbia Records in 1980. Highlights include "Cold Lonesome Morning," which had some minor chart success, "Without Love," by his son-in-law, Nick Lowe, and a cover of the witty "The Twentieth Century Is Almost Over." Wild Tales is the second solo studio album by British singer-songwriter Graham Nash, released on Atlantic Records in 1974. In the United States, it peaked at number 34 on Billboard's albums chart.
