Helsinki has a total area of 686 km2 (265 sq mi). 186 km2 (72 sq mi) of it is land and 500 km2 (190 sq mi) of the area is covered with water. It is located at 60°10′N24°56′E.
Kamppi is a neighbourhood in the centre of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The name originally referred to a small area known as the "Kamppi field", but according to the current official designation, "Kamppi" encompasses a much larger area with a population of 10,000 in 2004.
Punavuori is a neighbourhood in the center of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. The name Punavuori refers to red cliffs located between Sepänkatu and Punavuorenkatu. They were still visible in the 19th century, nowadays they are covered with buildings and pavement. Punavuori was traditionally a working-class neighbourhood, today it is known as a bohemian district popular among artists, students and hipsters. It is one of the most densely populated areas in Finland.
Esplanadi, colloquially known as Espa, is an esplanade and urban park in downtown Helsinki, Finland, situated between the Erottaja square and the Market Square. It is bordered on its northern and southern sides by the Pohjoisesplanadi and Eteläesplanadi streets, respectively. Aleksanterinkatu runs parallel to Esplanadi. Esplanadi is well known as a popular walking area, and street performances are also often held in the park.

The other key destination on the square is the Hietalahti market hall, hosting a number of trendy restaurants.
Bulevardi is a boulevard in Helsinki, Finland. It starts at Erottaja and ends at Hietalahdentori. The majority of the boulevard is located in the western part of the Kamppi neighborhood and a small part of Punavuori. Restaurants, cafes, and art galleries line the street. The Alexander Theatre and Sinebrychoff Museum of Art are located on Bulevardi.
The Yrjönkatu Swimming Hall is the first and oldest public indoor swimming hall in Finland. It was inaugurated on 4 June 1928, and it took a long time until a second indoor pool was opened in Finland. The Sinebrychoff Park, colloquially referred to as the "Koff Park", is a park in Punavuori, Helsinki, Finland, near Hietalahti. The park was named after the Sinebrychoff brewery, which had its premises next to the park from 1819 to 1992 and to whose lands the park used to belong, and the Sinebrychoff family that owned both. In addition to the Old Church Park and Kaivopuisto, the park is among the most popular parks in Helsinki.
Narinkka or Narinkkatori is a square in Kamppi, Helsinki, Finland. It is surrounded by the Kamppi Center to the west, the former financial building of the Turku barracks to the east and the Scandic Hotels hotel Simonkenttä to the south. To the north the square borders the Salomonkatu street, which is nowadays a pedestrian zone, to the south between the square and the Simonkatu street is the Kamppi Chapel. The square got its current form during the construction of the Kamppi Center and was built in 2005, when it also got its name.

Café Ekberg is a café bakery located along Bulevardi in Kamppi, Helsinki, Finland. It was founded by Fredrik Ekberg (1825–1891) in 1852, which makes it the oldest café still in operation in Helsinki. At first it was located on Aleksanterinkatu, but it moved to its current location in 1915. Examples of classic baked goods that have remained in Ekberg's range since the 19th century include Krapfens and Runeberg tortes.
