The Hillsdale Local School District is a public school district in Ashland County, Ohio, United States, based in Jeromesville, Ohio.
The Hillsdale Local School District has one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school. [2] Construction of a new combined campus began on September 30th, 2020 and the new facility is scheduled to open at the start of the 2022/2023 school year. [3]
Ashland is a home rule-class city in Boyd County, Kentucky, in the United States. Ashland, the largest city in Boyd County, is located upon a southern bank of the Ohio River. The population was 21,684 at the 2010 census. Ashland is the smaller of two primary cities in the Huntington-Ashland metropolitan area, which is referred to locally as the "Tri-State area" and had a population of 361,487 in 2017, while the Kentucky portion was home to 110,641 in 2017. The Union County–College Corner Joint State School District is an interstate unified school district that serves Union County and northeastern Franklin County in Indiana, as well as portions of Preble and Butler counties near the village of College Corner in Ohio. It is the only remaining joint state school district in Indiana and Ohio. The district, which operates under Indiana law, is governed by a nine-person board of trustees with representatives from both states. Under Ohio Rev. Code §3317.024, the State of Ohio reimburses the State of Indiana for the cost of educating Ohio students, who "transfer" into the district from the College Corner Local School District under an open enrollment policy.
