Hilma Ndinelago Nicanor (born 3 May 1956 in Oshana Region) is a Namibian politician and woman activist. At the age of 18 she joined Swapo and its military wing,the People's Liberation Army of Namibia (PLAN) to contribute to the fight for Namibian independence. In 2004 she became the Councillor of the Keetmanshoop Urban constituency,and one of two representatives of the ǁKaras Region to the National Council of Namibia,the country's upper house. Since 2011 Nicanor is Namibia's Deputy Minister for Veteran Affairs. [1]
Nicanor completed school in 1974 at Martin Luther High in Okombahe,and was further educated in Bulgaria. [2]
The South West Africa People's Organisation,officially known as the SWAPO Party of Namibia,is a political party and former independence movement in Namibia. Founded in 1960,it has been the governing party in Namibia since the country achieved independence in 1990. The party continues to be dominated in number and influence by the Ovambo ethnic group.
Keetmanshoop Urban is a constituency in the ǁKaras Region of Namibia. It comprises the city of Keetmanshoop,except the Krönlein suburb,covering an area of 524 km2 (202 sq mi). It had a population of 19,447 in 2011,up from 15,777 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 12,569 registered voters,up from 11,534 in 2019.

Loide Lucky Shoopala Kasingo is a Namibian politician and prominent trade unionist. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO),Kasingo has been a member of the National Assembly of Namibia since 1996 and was a deputy minister from 1996 to 2005. She has served as Deputy Speaker of Parliament since 2010.
Lempy Lucas,also:Lukas,is a Namibian politician. A member of the National Assembly from 2000 until 2015,Lucas is a member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO). She has held a number of deputy minister positions in Namibia's government between 2004 and 2015. She also was a SWAPO Party Youth League activist.
Maria Marlene Mungunda is a Namibian politician who served in several portfolios as minister. She is a teacher by profession and worked as teacher from 1975 to 1996.

Ndemupelila Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is a Namibian politician who became president-elect of Namibia after winning the presidential election on 3 December 2024. She is scheduled to be Namibia's fifth president and the first woman to hold this position. She is serving as third vice-president of Namibia since February 2024. She was also SWAPO's first female presidential candidate for the 2024 Namibian general election. In 2017,Nandi-Ndaitwah was elected vice-president of SWAPO,the first woman to serve in that position.

Keharanjo II Xavier Komavau Nguvauva was the youngest Chief of the Ovambanderu,a Herero clan in Namibia. Keharanjo was born to the Ovambanderu family to the then Chief Munjuku Nguvauva II and his wife Aletta Karikondua Nguvauva. He was reported dead on the evening of Friday 8 April 2011 in the residential area of Khomasdal,Windhoek where he committed suicide using an electric wire.

Martin Luther High School (MLH) is a boarding school in the village of Okombahe in the Erongo Region of central Namibia,named after German church reformer Martin Luther. The school has about 250 pupils in grades 8 to 12,and twelve teachers.
The Namibian Police Force (NAMPOL) is the national police force of Namibia. It was established by the Namibian Constitution and enacted by an act of Parliament. The Namibian Police Force replaced the South West African Police as the national police force of the country in 1990. Sebastian Ndeitunga was its inspector general since 2005 to 2022. Joseph Shikongo is the current inspector general. NAMPOL's functions are overseen by the Ministry of Home Affairs,Immigration,Safety and Security.
Alexia Turimei Manombe-Ncube is a Namibian politician. She is deputy minister of Disability Affairs since March 2015.
Maxie Meliza Minnaar was a Namibian politician. She served as the regional councillor for Keetmanshoop Urban in the ǁKaras Region from January 2020 until her death in August 2020. She was a member of the Landless People's Movement party and the party's first regional councillor.
Aino Kapewangolo is a Namibian pastor and politician. Kapewangolo is a SWAPO Party member and pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia (ELCIN). She served as a member of Parliament in the National Assembly from 2015-2020. She also served as a Deputy Minister of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare.
