The Himmerland Rundt is a one-day road cycling race held annually in the Danish region of Himmerland. It is organized as a part of the UCI Europe Tour in category 1.2. It was first organized in 2011. [1]

Lasse Bøchman is a Danish former professional road bicycle racer. He joined Team CSC, as they were then known, in early 2008 after performing beyond expectations during a training camp in Majorca.
André Steensen is a Danish former professional racing cyclist who last rode for Cult Energy–Vital Water. Steensen retired after the 2014 season due to injury problems, becoming a DS for Cult Energy Pro Cycling.
Riwal Cycling Team is a Danish UCI Continental cycling team based in Himmerland. Riwal participates in races in many countries around Europe. The team's most popular achievements have been the Danmark Rundt, the Olympia's Tour in the Netherlands and the Okolo Slovenska. The team has 10 full-time riders. Most of the team riders are Danish but also includes Swedish, Dutch and Norwegian members. The team has one sports manager and several freelancers.
