Hocine El Orfi (born January 27, 1987) is an Algerian footballer. He plays mainly as a defensive midfielder.
Born in Bou Saâda, El Orfi began his career in the youth ranks of his hometown club, Amel Bou Saâda, eventually making his way to the first team. [1] In 2007, he signed for Paradou AC.
On June 4, 2010, El Orfi was loaned out by Paradou AC to JS Kabylie for one season. [2] On May 1, 2011, El Orfi started for JS Kabylie in the 2011 Algerian Cup Final where they beat USM El Harrach 1–0 to win the trophy. [3] In June 2011, his loan was extended for another season. [4]
In the summer of 2012, El Orfi joined USM Alger from Paradou AC, signing a two-year contract. [5] The transfer fee was not disclosed. On September 15, he made his debut for the club as starter in the first week encounter of the 2012–13 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 against CS Constantine. [6]
On October 3, 2012, El Orfi received his first official call-up to the Algeria national football team for the return leg of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya. [7]

The clasico kabylo-algérois is the name given to matches between USM Alger and JS Kabylie football clubs from Tizi Ouzou and Algiers, Algeria they are considered one of the most famous clubs in Algeria and their matches are given great attention by the Algerian media, The period between 1996 and 2010 is the most exciting between the two teams because of the great conflict between the heads of the two teams Saïd Allik and Mohand Chérif Hannachi, It is said that the reason for the enmity between the two when Said Alik bringing the star of JS Kabylie and national team at the time Mahieddine Meftah the two teams were both champions and runners-up in the same season five times, including three consecutive times between 2003–04 and 2005–06.
