Hollywood Fashion Center was a shopping mall located at the South East corner of Hollywood Boulevard (State Road 820) and US 441 (State Road 7) in Hollywood, Florida.
The first store to open at the mall was anchor Burdines, which opened on October 5, 1970. [2] The mall opened on November 1, 1971 with anchors Burdines, Jordan Marsh, J. C. Penney, and Richard's. [3] Zayre opened at the mall in the former Richard's space in 1982. [4]
The mall began a serious decline in the 1990s, as it rapidly lost anchors. Ames, which had been converted from Zayre in 1988, closed in 1990 with the chain's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing. [5] Jordan Marsh closed in 1991, and both Burdines and JCPenney closed and moved to the new Pembroke Lakes Mall in 1992, leaving the mall anchorless. [5] [6] The mall's owners, Hollytor Properties, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1993, and the mall was sold to State Mutual Life Insurance for $4.7 million. [7] [8] By 1994, the mall had been closed. [9]
In 1996, the mall was considered as the site for a new The Home Depot store, however these plans never came to fruition. [10] Later that year the mall became home to a Smart & Final warehouse foods store, which later became a Gordon Food Service with their acquisition of Smart & Final's Florida stores in 2003. For a brief period from 2002-2004 it served as an indoor flea market named Millennium SuperMall "Hollywood's City Place" until it was discovered many of the booths were selling stolen wares. It has been closed since then.
In March 2013, Walmart announced that they were purchasing the property and constructing a 185,000 square foot Walmart Supercenter. The demolition phase was completed in June, 2014. [13] The Walmart Supercenter opened on April 21, 2016. [14]
The Hollywood Fashion Center is not to be confused with Hollywood Plaza, which was formerly named Hollywood Mall, and which is located about two miles east on Hollywood Boulevard.

Burdines was an American chain of department stores operating in the state of Florida, headquartered in Miami. The original store opened in Bartow, Florida in 1896 as a carriage-trade shop. Over its nearly 110-year history, Burdines grew into a popular chain of department stores, known as 'The Florida Store,' decorated with palm trees in the center of the store, painted in pink and blue, and other subtropical colors and motifs. In 1956, the stores became a part of Federated Department Stores, Inc. On January 30, 2004, it was renamed Burdines-Macy's, and a year later, on March 6, 2005, the name Burdines was dropped altogether. The majority of the stores were rebranded as Macy's while a handful closed.

As of 2018, Pembroke Lakes is one of South Florida's most popular malls. The anchor stores are Round One Entertainment, AMC Theatres, 2 Dillard's stores, JCPenney, and 2 Macy's stores.
The Shops at Ledgewood Commons is a shopping plaza in Ledgewood, New Jersey, United States. Its anchors are Ashley Furniture HomeStores, Marshalls, Walmart, and Burlington. It is an outdoor shopping plaza with a gross leasable area of 470,000 sq ft (44,000 m2). From the mall's opening in 1972 until 2016, it was branded Ledgewood Mall as a 518,246-square-foot (48,147 m2) enclosed mall.
Lockport Mall was an enclosed shopping mall in South Lockport, New York located on Transit Road. It opened in 1971 and included three anchor stores as well as a movie theater. The mall closed in 2006 except for the Bon-Ton department store. First announced in 2007, plans for a Walmart supercenter would displace the rest of the former mall building. The mall's demolition began in April 2011.

It opened in 2008 on the site of the old Florin Mall, which closed and was demolished in 2006. The 484,500 square feet (45,010 m2) center is anchored by AutoZone, PetSmart and Walmart Supercenter.
Country Club Centre is a shopping center in the Arden-Arcade area in unincorporated Sacramento County, California, United States in the Sacramento area. It is located at the southwest corner of El Camino and Watt Avenues, diagonally across from what was the very first stand-alone store of the now defunct Tower Records chain. It originally opened as a small strip shopping center in 1952 that was later expanded into a regional mall and then later converted into a mixed use of office and retail. The shopping center is currently anchored by the Sacramento area’s only Costco Business Center. It was previously anchored by Walmart (closed), Sam's Club and Michaels (relocated).
