Hong Bang International University (HIU) is a private university in Ho Chi Minh City.

HIU has faculties of law, economics, fine arts, foreign languages. The university has been accredited by three US educational organizations as meeting American education standard. [1]

History

Established in 1997, HIU became a member of NHG Education System in May 2015. [2]

Programs

HIU offers degree programs in forty disciplines, enrolling an average of 4,000 undergraduate and post-graduate students from Southern Vietnam. Up to 2017, HIU had more than 66.000 alumni working in Vietnam and APAC. [3]

HIU has received the Labor Order, third class by the President; Merit by the Prime Minister as well as Merit by Central of the Ho chi Minh City Communist Youth Union.

According to UniRank, UNI is ranked 38th in Vietnam. [4] Recently, following the assessment of The Ministry of Education and Training, [5] the university is on the strongly recommended list because of high-level education r, international environment and a high qualitycampus.

Admission

Vietnamese students come from mainly Ho chi minh City, Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Long An, and Binh Thuan.
HIU has international students from Cuba, Cambodia, Korea, Mongolia, Japan, and Italy . They join both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

The airport, like all civil airports in Vietnam, is owned and operated by Airports Corporation of Vietnam.

Phạm Tuyên

Phạm Tuyên is a Vietnamese musician. He was head of the music service at Hanoi's Voice of Vietnam Radio during the Vietnam War. He is the author of many popular socialist songs, for example Như có Bác Hồ trong ngày vui đại thắng and Đảng đã cho ta mùa xuân.

Tóc Tiên

Nguyễn Khoa Tóc Tiên, known simply as Tóc Tiên, is a Vietnamese recording artist, model and actress. Beginning her career as a child, Tiên later became a teen idol, participating in several singing competitions and releasing two studio albums: Nụ cười nắng mai (2007) and Tóc Tiên thiếu nữ (2008). Her third solo album, My Turn (2009), projects a new, sexually-charged image which she adopted while living in the United States and performing frequently on Thúy Nga Productions' variety show, Paris by Night. Tiên appeared in the first season of the television series, The Remix, in 2015. The show gave her an opportunity to perform "Ngày mai ", the song which brought her success and later became one of her signature hits. Subsequent singles, notably "Em không là duy nhất" and "#Catena ", were moderately successful.

The Hồ Chí Minh Prize is an honorary award given by the government of Vietnam in recognition of cultural and/or scientific achievement. The prize was established by decree in 1981, and has been awarded in 1996, 2000, 2005 and 2012, often posthumously. The prize is named for Ho Chi Minh, and is considered one of the highest honors bestowed by Vietnam.

Ho Chi Minh Thought, or Ho Chi Minh Ideology, is a political philosophy that builds upon Marxism–Leninism and the ideology of Ho Chi Minh. It was first formalised by the Communist Party of Vietnam in 1991. Ho Chi Minh Thought is a broad term for political theories and policies that are seen by their proponents as representing Marxism–Leninism adapted to Vietnamese circumstances and specific time periods. The ideology includes views on the basic issues of the Vietnamese Revolution, specifically the application and development of Marxism-Leninism to the material conditions of Vietnam. The contents of Ho Chi Minh Thought was codified and developed by the Communist Party of Vietnam. The Communist Party of Vietnam defines Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought as a guideline for all actions and victories of the Vietnamese revolution. Ho Chi Minh Thought, while named after the Vietnamese revolutionary and President, does not necessarily reflect the ideology of Ho Chi Minh, rather Ho Chi Minh Thought refers to the official ideology of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
