In Sons of the Desert , Ty Parvis performed the song, with Oliver Hardy performing it again later in the film. [3] [4] The Little Rascals also performed it in Beginner's Luck (1935).

Later versions

The song has been covered by the Weintraub Syncopators, [5] Anton LaVey on Satan Takes a Holiday , [6] and Kaʻau Crater Boys on Friends of the Ocean. [7] Sheffield Wednesday supporters have adapted the melody as a football chant. [8]
